Poor defenseless little Halo.
She looks so unhappy in that photo.
Eyes swollen as if she spent a lot of time crying.

No matter how Persia's defense frames this scenario, I do not feel sorry for her.
Other options exist, even instant one like leaving the baby at a hospital entrance or a fire station.
There's also foster care/adoption if the mom was feeling overwhelmed !
Simply no excuse for outright murder.
