Dover man reported missing

Troop K – On July 3, 2018, the New York State Police began searching for an endangered adult subject named, Jacob J. Wodroska, age 23, of Dover, NY. Jacob’s family stated he was last seen wearing khaki colored shorts and shoes on White Farm Road in Dover. Jacob is 6 feet tall, weighs approximately 210 pounds, has brown hair, and blue eyes. The last time Jacob went missing he took the Appalachian trail, and was located in Massachusetts nine days later.

I was just thinking the same thing. Maybe LE being more cautious these days? At least, I like that explanation better than the alternative.
