Boyfriend of missing Clyde woman fears troubled past caught up with her

The boyfriend of a Clyde woman, who's been missing for three weeks, is asking for your help. Jeanette Ciaramella has been missing since the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

Marcus Lee thinks his girlfriend's past may have caught up with her. He says she was afraid of someone, although she never said who.

Lee talked to News10NBC Thursday evening in hopes that someone may know where she is and contact him or police.

"I just hope that now they're finally on to something," said Lee.

Geez...

Lee says his girlfriend had a past she was trying to escape. He says she was afraid of some people she may have owed money to.

Though, Lee says, she wouldn't divulge much information in order to protect him, she did tell him where to look for her if she turned up missing. That included a 50-acre farm off of Bloom Road in Newark where police searched on Thursday.

So why did it take so long to search that property?

Looks like she's been on the run from people of her past. I hope she is hiding out now, too scared to make contact.

That search location is over 20 miles from where she lives.

Google Maps

I am sure people have already looked up her FB but here it is for those that hadn't.

Two years earlier is this FB where she was married to someone else (where the scarborough name comes from)

Somewhat shorter from her boyfriends location where she could have been living (previous post the address for her is also her mother's). 12.8 miles to where the search was.

Yeah, I wonder about why it took so long to look there as well. It really isn't looking good if I have to go by what her boyfriend's story is. Wish law enforcement would chime in on what they think is going on here.

And now she is in NY... so none of this is very telling. Except she has moved around a lot in the past 10 yrs.
I am not seeing the kinds of things I would expect if someone owed someone the kind of money that gets you disappeared or makes you disappear. I am also not seeing the kinds of things that would have people after you. Not seeing any local arrests of her where perhaps she would have to testify, for example.

Case is local to me- total radio silence in the local news and gossip streams. I am sure LE is following up on leads but there is no public attention to this one at all.
