Oh no, her poor family!

A body has been found for sure...it is on News 9 in Syracuse...has to be assumed to be Jenni-Lynn, I imagine...

FB posters say the location is behind the YMCA, near Clay Central Park, by the marshy area near Wetzel St.
No formal i.d. at this time.

Very odd. There is also a page called Jenni-Lyn Watson Inmabasement. :(
People are very cruel. And odd.

Did you report it to facebook? If you report it as a fake page, they will take it down.

So, so sorry for her family. I know there's no confirmation yet, but they must be absolutely devastated. :(

Prayers and love to Jenni-Lyn's family and friends. This is heart-breaking.

Clay, NY – Searchers found the body of a woman believed to be that of Jenni-Lyn Watson this morning in a swampy area behind a storage shed in Clay Central Park, District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said.
The body was found about 11 a.m. in the park, which is north of Wetzel Road and east of the wooded tract where the search had focused since Watson, 20, disappeared on Nov. 19, Fitzpatrick said.
A positive identification had not been made, but the remains were consistent in age and race with Watson, he said.

WSYR update:

We're told the area, which is very well-hidden, was not visible until discovered by the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department. Investigators do not have a positive confirmation that this is the body of Jenni-Lyn, but they do suspect it is, based on the location. The family of the 20-year-old has been notified and they will positively identify the remains. An autopsy is planned for later this afternoon.

I hate being such a cynic, but I feared this all along...just so glad they were able to find her before the snowstorm began...

I hope (and believe) they have a suspect and that is what kept them searching in this area; maybe they talked with someone who refused to take a LD for example, or gave conflicting info...LE did seem convinced she would be found in this search area, in spite of a lot of criticism (from me included) about keeping the number of searchers down...

Heartbreaking outcome...and if it turns out to be a case of an acquaintance or former friend who did this...just sickening and another example of an increasingly scary disregard for life in our society...

If they would have let people help in the search, she would have been found much earlier. Sorry i'm so angry right now.

I know how you feel but i think they knew way more than we think from the beginning. This whole case has been strange. but they knew.

ITA Cluciano and pjsmommy,

I have been wondering a lot about why they limited the number and scope of searchers... I wondered if they were pretty certain she was no longer with us. This search just didn't seem to have the kind of intensity of a rescue, even from very early on. jmo

i said before, this is really close to home. the whole thing has been wierd from the begining. everyone including her parents have kept everything very controlled. who knows what they knew from the start. im sure they were just following police instructions.
i have my feelings on who did this but i will wait and follow the rules myself.

Definitely not the ending we'd all hoped for. So sad. :(

My prayers are with Jenni's family and friends.
