Such sad news. I was on FB and saw the update there.
It seemed many of WS's had the right idea. LE and family had a suspect in mind
all along.
No wonder they have been so very quiet..

I am glad she is found.
I am glad her family has an answer.

I can only hope that her ex bf will get the full laser beam of justice.

Prayers for her family.

RIP Jenni-Lyn. You had so much promise.

The officer at the press conference has been ambiguous about the truck. It will come at the trial but it wasn't involved in the crime and it won't have been at the park. I think that's what he said.

I am wondering if Pieper told them that he saw it when he was leaving Jenni-Lyn's on Fri AM in an attempt to divert attention from himself. I think LE released the truck info to the public as a tool that will be helpful at trial. To trash any defense speculation that there was a possible suspect that was not followed up on.

Authorities say they have charged 21-year-old Steven M. Pieper, of Coconut Tree Drive, Liverpool, with murder after searchers discovered a body believed to be that of dance student Jenni-Lyn Watson in a park in Clay. They expect he will be arraigned tonight in town court.

District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said Pieper and Watson had been involved in a romantic relatiionship, which Watson decided to end in early October, and Pieper did not take to that well.

Fitzpatrick said that authorities believe Watson was removed from her parent's home by Pieper Friday Nov. 19, and very shortly after, "dumped, frankly like garbage," in Clay Central Park.

"We do not believe she left that house alive," Fitzpatrick said.

I see on his myspace and FB pages, he likes to show pictures of "hot" cars - rather than himself. Anyone got a picture of <SP? Mod snip> Note: there's more than one myspace page with his name, connected to Liverpool NY - and they all have car pictures.

Most likely.

Since they said they'd believed she was a crime victim early on, there must have been signs inside the home.
I can't imagine her parents knowing, probably for the last week, that she was killed in their home by Pieper.
