OT...completely...but it reminds me of what happens when people care...when people respond...and is a good read....

I don't want to know his name. I don't want to see his face. I don't want to know his life's history, his back-story, who his family is, where he went to school, or what he liked to do in his spare time.........

I thought it had come back, wasnt that what the 4 sentence apeal 2 weeks ago about?
A while back I said when the tox report comes back clean, ccs will make a small release and that this will be over.unless new clues come forward it is over......
I know every one here thinks im sinical with a axe to grind, any were else in the world I would expext more from le, but I know these guys.

I don't think that it will be over, personally. I think that might just be a beginning.

One thing I would say about a COD not being released; once that is done, and a person can officially be declared dead, certain processes can be set in motion:

Insurance can be claimed
Businesses can be wound up/transferred
Joint properties can be sold
Debts in the deceased person's name can be cleared
Relatives can make a new start; get remarried, maybe move. Even leave the country, if they have links abroad and have the cash to do it.

But until and unless the COD and death certificate is issued, everything is on hold. No-one can collect, so, probably, no-one will move.

Just popping in to say hi and that I think of Jennifer and look for updates daily.

I hope that we will have some news soon.

I have a blue candle lit by my computer desk. Every time I light it I think of many of our cases that are here at websleuths but especially this one.

:rose: prayers for Jennifer :rose:

This reminds me that even those who think they are invincible, or really influential, can often find themselves totally alone when it is revealed they have done something very very wrong. Often, the staunchest defenders feel the most betrayed, and can turn into the harshest critics.

From what I understand evidence is kept quiet until LE is ready to make an arrest. The DA only has a certain aount of time to present evidence so the case sticks and a proper arrest is made. I think this is exactly what is happening. There's overwhelming evidence to prosecute. <modsnip>

It's my opinion LE have had someone in their sights from the beginning, but I don't know about overwhelming evidence. If that's the case, why wait?

I think that's beginning to happen now. One can only maintain a facade for so long...even with the most naive. Staunch defenders seem to be melting away...

When you say overwhelming evidence, is there more that you know of than what has been released?

Didnt the utica dispatch , on march 9th say the tox report had came back?
Then the next few days ccso made that brief statement. I think the tox is allready back.
I guess we will hope again this week.

The only Utica link I can see is this one, from April 10th? It doesn't say anything about tox there.

Never seen that CJ (sorry) - do you have a link?

I forgot to put my link in above. All I can see in the Utica website are two stories, one from Feb, one from April. Unless there is a printed version. I don't think we would all have missed the announcement of tox results to be honest though.

BBM
It was something along the lines of expecting the tox report to be back because it had been 6 weeks.

This article says a window of 4-6 weeks is to be expected ... which would make it around April 9th that they'd have had the results. Two weeks ago. Not that we need the details of the tox results .. we just need Jen's murderer off the streets.

"Four to six weeks is pretty standard," Magnani says of the time line for forensic toxicology testing. Besides the time needed for painstaking analysis and confirmation, she says, there could be a backlog of tests that need to be done at a particular laboratory.

Welcome back Yup - how was your Vacay. Anything interesting from the IBM guy?

And, Who know's what's going on these days - <modsnip>

Thank you...my vacation was great!

I was surprised to see the page was gone...or maybe temporarily gone (I hope!).

Nothing too interesting from IBM....he would need more information to give me more detailed answers. I was up late last night going over all of LD posts here trying to piece together exactly what she told us about his "alibi".

True, but I can't help feeling the reason for Jennifer's death is going to turn out to be an old and familiar story, that many of us have heard before.

I think I know what you mean, but not sure if I'm on the same page as everyone else LOL.

I say this every week, but maybe this will be the week her loved ones will get their answers

:please: Please let the truth be there intact with everything needed for an arrest and sentencing. I have had a dream twice where the guilty pleads guilty saying, " Everyone thinks I did it anyway, so I plead guilty" on a news clip. But! All the answers are there and concrete. He eventually does a "tell all" interview. I hope my dreams comes true this week! :please:

Upstate NY and some of it's dish users have the capability of having California e-mail addresses - It makes it possible for us to get local news when we wouldn't otherwise be able to. So are some of our California people in here actually local?
