He's certainly not a very attractive person....

Been following this since the beginning. So very happy to see this arrest!!

150K bail is a bit worrysome. I would have thought it would have been higher.

That's cash 300k in a bond.
Kinda of a reach for him.

Not many kudos going on here in general after all the clueless mud slinging that has gone on.

McBride [Chenango County DA] said he asked the judge at arraignment not to grant bail. Ganesh Ramsaran was remanded to the Chenango County jail in lieu of $150,000 cash or $300,000 bond.

Cash bail of $150,000 and a real estate bail of $300,000 was set by County Judge Frank Revoir. A grand jury hearing is expected to be held next week.

I almost gave up!!

WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!

“These internet predators are evil,” said Ganesh Ramsaran, an IBM project manager. He added: “According to these ******* people, I’m the devil incarnate.”

Ganesh Ramsaran also voiced frustration in that interview that a reporter wrote that he had declined to discuss whether he had taken out a life insurance policy on his wife.

“I’ve been totally open and honest with you from the beginning, and you’ve treated me like some nitwit,” he said.

Agreed Clue ... thanks to the WSers, mods, locals, Joe Mahoney, everyone who kept the pressure on. LE did their job, and GR was made to sweat during the wait for his arrest (surprised he didn't lose a little weight with all that sweating!)

How much vindication you must feel and how much relief at the same time. You've sacrificed alot to see justice happen along with many others, but I hope you can finally have some measure of peace after the arrest today.

Or a 300K real estate/property bond. Believe it's not much of a reach at all for his family (parents)

Wow just woke up and saw the news! I'm glad Jennifer is finally getting justice. I'm extremely sad for her children and family. I can't imagine how her kids are feeling right now. Thank you Rick for coming here to let us know they are with people who love them. I haven't read all of the articles yet, but plan to do so right now. I'm also leaving very early tomorrow morning so I won't be on for a few days, but know I am with you all!

Oh and huge thank you to Joe Mahoney because I was relentless these past few months LOL.

Totally, 100% worth the roadblocks <Mod Snip> Ganesh Ramsaran put up.

This day has finally come, and I'm as elated right now as I was 6 hours ago.

Happy that he was arrested, but sad that the kids experienced yet another loss.

But they are safe and away from this monster finally.

I can say this with 100% accuracy (but don't ask me how I know this): WS has been very helpful in this case.

You guys are the best!

Agreed, Piper.
I'm afraid he'll post bail tomorrow.
In my opinion, he'll either deny it all the way, or say "yeah, we got into an argument. It turned physical. I pushed her. She hit her head. She died. I panicked and covered it up."
Or, he'll pull a Josh Powell scenario.

Any guesses on whether he'll ask for a change of venue?

I can almost feel the collective deep breath everyone here has finally been able to take. I'll admit I was afraid this day would never come.

Not sure he'll claim an arguement. I have to believe that the damning evidence is contained in the tox report.... hence, the long delay. To me, this suggests poisoning of some sort. As for the change of venue, I really doubt it. I think he still thinks he has more friends than enemies around here

God. The anger i feel is palpable. The nerve of this good for nothing killer, aside from the act and horrible disrespectful way he dumped her to perpetrate a smear campaign and strut around the last few months makes me really hope Jennifers killer gets the 'vengence' he so well deserves. Rot in hell you no good liar.

Hugs back atcha'!

I can still feel that collective sigh of relief.

Amazing. Now, when there's a conviction, MAJOR CELEBRATION, although I know some WS'ers are already celebrating! :)

I've been waiting for this day a long long time. I only hope the children get the help and support they need. RIP now Jenn I hope :)
