The discovery, by LE, of Jennifer’s prescription pill bottle in one of the Plank Road Manor apartment dumpsters…

1) Points away from a perp other than GR and points directly to GR

a. If Jennifer were simply heading out for a day of shopping (or even a lunchtime rendezvous with the mythical paramour), why would she take her meds with her? Unless, perhaps, she required a noon dosage (will need to look up dosing for her medications). But, even in that case, there’d be no reason for the perp (if other than GR) to discard them. They’d just be left in the van – probably in her purse.

b. If Jennifer were planning to run away that day, she’d have taken a whole lot more than a bottle of pills. And she wouldn’t have thrown her meds away.

c. The pill bottle being thrown into the dumpster indicates it was done by someone other than Jennifer, but that had access to her home and her medicine (i.e. GR)

Seems to eliminate any sort of accidental death, manslaughter, or even unpremeditated murder

If she died accidently, why discard the pill bottle?

If they got into a violent argument, and he strangled her in a fit of rage, why discard the pill bottle?

The pill bottle seems to be key to her death in some way. GR must have had some reason for wanting to throw it away.

[How fortuitous that Jennifer's father found the van just 4 days later, before dumpster pickup day. And to the LE officer(s) who went dumpster diving -- rock on!!]

I just watched a video and it made me so sad :( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpJhfdzaFOk
I'm not positive but I think a photo of the GF and Jennifer together in the video.
She had a beautiful life someone took.
I agree the pill bottle shows planning also. I'm wondering what he did with her artwork?

Why was the pill bottle thrown away?

Perhaps...

1) What was supposed to be in the bottle wasn't there, or wasn't there in the correct amount

and/or

2) Something not meant to be in the pill bottle was in there.

Jenn is really weighing Heavily on my mind tonight. I just I'm still trying to come to grips with all of this ...however looking back I'm really curious if any of the evidence that LE brings forth is similar to what We all think has happened...

This is simply a misunderstanding of the terminology used.
They meant he insulted Jennifer, after her disappearance/death right in front of the 13 year old.

http://thedailystar.com/localnews/x1169353402/Ramsaran-faces-murder-charge

“He would have the children stand on one side of the driveway while the grandparents stood on the other. That’s the only way he would let them talk to each other.”

At one point, said Wilcox, Ganesh Ramsaran deeply upset his 13-year-old daughter “by running down her mother right in front of her.”

ha ha!! thanks for clarifying that! the first time i read that article I had the same image! but then figured out he meant insulting her mother.

He could have tossed the prescription bottle out the window anywhere and it never would have been found. Bad move GR. He had to drive right by the van when he 'found' the phone, coming and going. Also, the police must have as well on the way to and from the phone location. Wonder why the police shared that info with a random resident at the apartments? I wonder if LE has any eyewitness accounts of him there with the van? That could be a huge bit of evidence.

Actually, my research points to a potential source of income from Trinidad-Tobago. An old college friend and former colleague, East Indian ancestry, lives there -- serves on the reserve police force. I'm going to ask him to sniff around for me.

I've forgotten my history lessons - it's us, the Brits who have the links with Trinidad and Tobago, isn't it? Not the Dutch. Well, now I've embarrassed myself publically with that, I wonder if it is worth sending a few links about Jennifer to newspapers there? If GR is doing a lot of business there, the story might be of interest to the local paper and an investigative journalist might turn something up. What do you think?

There might be a Trinidadian version of Joe Mahoney there, if we are really lucky.

Go for it. It will cause a stir, no doubt. Especially on Ramsaran Street in Longdenville, Trinidad.

Now...I need to find what we did with those postings about meds -- it was Ace (where did he get off to?) and I think Nanasbabes(?) and you Zweibel, I think...and some others...did those posts get deleted when we got scolded by the mods? (back in April, maybe?)

The Justice for Jennifer signs are popping up around Chenango County. People are seeing them and wanting them for their own yard, or property. Looks like the demand is outpacing the supply.

ETA: Ahh!! Found the meds postings -- Cymbalta and all that. Right around first week of April. Lots of research from some amazing people went into those postings, so will go back and revisit, now that we know about that prescription bottle.

Jennifer posted this on 9/17/12 -- less than 3 months before she died.

"I have fibro and started jog/walking.............
I originally wanted to loose more wieght before running but I have been stuck at my current wieght for a while and recently got bored with the walking. I'm on cymbalta 30 mgs and 800 skelaxin & high dose topical steriod plus a ton of other supplements for other issues............."

After her death, GR went in to Runner's World and deleted the posting...sometime in January. Luckily, "Sreshowtime" found it and posted here at WS on 12/31 (thread 1, p. 15, post 375), before it got deleted on Runner's World.

So...he throws away her prescription bottle at the apartments and deletes this posting about her meds...hmmmm

I think he wanted the bottle found. IMO, he was thinking it would play into his suggestivly saying she was abusing her meds

I'm working threw the channels to get them, (I hope) we can! Also the med bottle being found I missed were that came from. :) Can someone link it? I did write in the past about me taking one kind of her meds and do know how it feels without it. Thanks guys for everything being I been pretty busy. :)

Or the pills that were in it were used to poison her and he couldnt risk throwing it away at home cause he knew LE would be searching his home and would check the trash. But, what im wondering is why LE told CM about this find? They have been so quiet about any evidence all threw this and they still are. So. why would an investigator tell CM? What makes her so special? Maybe she witnessed GR throwing the bottle away in there?

IMO, it was a bad choice of words on CM' s part - I know a few things that were well known from the day the van was found. There were several on onlookers that day and someone may have witnessed the find. My guess is, LE investigated and asked, "Did you see anyone put this bottle of pills or anything else into that dumpster?"

Again, just how I took what she was saying the day of court. I'm proud of these girls, Jillian and I are very camera shy so they are Jennifer's voice for these court appearances - unless someone else wants the job . . . We would love to have you

Yeah, I have about 20 requests for "some" signs - I hope we can make this happen too

I think it was referring to the news video, Nans

GR is certainly no master criminal based on his actions following this crime. He seemed bent on completing his alibi in as short a time as possible. First, he dumped Jenns body only 10 miles away, then the phone even closer to town/home, then the van even closer to home.

The clear implication was that it was a very local crime, with the killer heading back towards town and his own home and the crime being committed very early in the day. The master criminal in me would have thought, hey I have all day, she is suppposed to be going 70 miles away and being gone all day and i have an all day alibi for work. He could have driven 50 miles and diverted attention yet he made it look like a straight line back home, body, phone, van, Y and ride home in just a couple of hours. If the murder was premeditated, his actions after were certainly hasty and not thought out. Maybe he wanted the police to find the van on the way out to show where he found the phone but they did not. Instead it sat in plain sight for days (he must've been sweating that for a few days).

Bottom line is he drew a straight line right back to himself as prime suspect. He drew attention on his own town as the focus of some random predatory killer on the loose. If he had any brains he would have gone much closer to her supposed destination and not left all the evidence in his own back yard.
