One juror was spotted scribbling notes during the opening statements, and the judge ordered the notebook confiscated and instructed the jurors to refrain from taking notes during the proceeding. Once deliberations begin, he said, the jurors may ask to have portions of testimony read back to them.

Garcia told the jurors he expects to have them go to the Ramsaran house as well as the locations where the body, the phone and the van were recovered.

Well, that's a first; 'a Judge refusing to allow a juror to take notes'.. No wonder camera's aren't allowed in the courtroom.. This Judge needs to be put out to pasture in the next election, imo..

Is it normally allowed? In the UK it never is. They just have to ask to have testimony reread to them.I don't know why.

Re taking notes: I totally agree...but you know what? Upon further thinking it may work against GR.

Jurors may be left with the strong overall memory and impression of how very manipulative, how much a creator of false scenarios, a patho liar and an actor GR truly is.

Translation IMO: GR told me that this affair began just a few months before Jen disappeared. Doesn't make it so.
