Another thing, I'm not so sure that GR left Jenn's vehicle, at the apartment block where it was eventually found, on the day of the murder either. Didn't quite a few people who lived there say they didn't see it there until much later - like days later?

And wasn't it very muddy on the outside? Much dirtier than if it just did short drives in town?

Driving up to Center Road isn't exactly "in town." If you'll remember from from Offroadrunner's video, that road is out in the boonies, and there was a lot more snow up on that hill (in the video) than down in lower elevations. Also, if GR approached from the same direction that orr did, he'd have had to turn around before leaving the body (probably) to get on the side of the road with the drop off. While turning around -- in a driveway or whatnot -- he may have gotten a bit stuck in some mud (from rain/snow earlier that week) and splattered mud up on his vehicle. Or, the same thing could have happened when he pulled over to dispose of the phone. Or he could have originally decided to go down one of the little side roads off Center Road (the trail head for a well-known running trail is there -- he may have headed to the trail head, and maybe some people were there, so he had to change plans -- that area is grassy/muddy -- not paved all the way in).

I agree that the phone could have been disposed of later -- he might have forgotten it earlier. However, it does seem significant that the place where the phone was left was on the way from their home to where Jen's body was left, and also on the way from where her body was found to the apartments. So, I tend to believe that it was all done at one time.

There would have been plenty of time, even in the 74 minutes from the last time Jen's phone pinged in the house to when GR showed up at the Y. In the video, it only took 19 minutes to go from where the phone was left to where the body was left and then to the Y. I think I remember it was only about a mile from the apartments to the Y, so that would be an easy 10 minute downhill jog. So that's just 30 minutes there, leaving 44 minutes to get from the house to the sand hill (area where phone was left). I couldn't find Offroadrunners's other video from the house to the sand hill, but it certainly didn't take that long.

ETA: I just googled it, and it's only about a 20 minute drive from their house to where the phone was found. And, we know from Offroadrunner's video, that from that point to where the body was left, and back to where the phone was left, and then to the apartments is 19 minutes (including about a one minute stop where the body was left). Then, a 10 min. jog from the apartments after leaving the van to the Y -- the whole process from leaving the house to arriving at the Y could have easily been done in under an hour -- leaving plenty of time to scope out potential spots to leave the body along the way or whatever.

The reporting of the affair starting in 2007 was a mistake. They admitted it started in 2012
Thank you for clarifying that Solus.

Another discrepancy I've noticed is the date that Jennifer's phone was found - According to the below quote it says, "Two days later on Dec. 13, 2012, Commesso said they began searching for Jennifer's cell phone using the 'Find My iPhone' app." despite the earlier articles saying that it was found on December 12, 2012.

Two days later on Dec. 13, 2012, Commesso said they began searching for Jennifer's cell phone using the 'Find My iPhone' app.

Actually, apparently none of the residents noticed it at all -- at least nobody living there reported it to the police -- but it wasn't widely known yet that Jen was missing. Jen's Dad found the van and then the police descended on the apartment complex and started knocking on everyone's doors. One the the locals (Ace) who came on Websleuths said that there's a similar van in that parking lot that belongs to one of the residents or frequent visitors. I kinda remember something being said way back about a year and a half ago that the family who owned that van happened to be out of town in that few days that the van was parked there, so there wouldn't have been two vans of that similar color at the same time. But that last part I'm a little foggy on.

The 'Dark Triad' remind y'all of anyone?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_triad

<BBM for Focus>

The Dark Triad

The dark triad is a group of three personality traits: narcissism, machiavellianism and psychopathy. The use of the term "dark" reflects the perception that these traits have inter-personally aversive qualities:

* Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy.

* Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, a cynical disregard for morality, and a focus on self-interest and deception.

* Psychopathy is characterized by enduring antisocial behaviour, impulsivity, selfishness, callousness, and remorselessness.

Ha. I live with my head in the clouds so regard myself as ageless. I'm joining the Millenial club, even if they don't want me and I don't know what it means.

In-laws: Husband defamed late wife
September 6, 2014: http://www.thedailystar.com/news/local_news/article_f10a756a-52ff-5480-9493-f5a59b059086.html

Another excellent article giving comprehensive coverage of the events of day 2 of the trial -- kudos to Joe!

I just feel so badly for Jen's parents and sister in having to deal with that awful man and the disgraceful things he said about their daughter. Beyond the pale!

I wonder if Eileen is still supportive, or if she's seen the light? I rather thought she'd be another victim if GR hadn't been imprisoned -- especially if she knows too much.

Yes SouthAussie - you can see a photo of the minivan covered in mud at the link below. Post #905 by LL851.

I was looking at this photo again. To me, the "mud" looks whitish in color -- like from driving on roads that were salted. My car tends to look like that in NY winters. It appears that Center Road gets plowed up to the point where the school bus turned around (in ORR's video), so I'm guessing that portion of the road would get salted as well. And that it probably had been salted once or twice by that point in December.

Solus - from the first moment you posted here, I thought you were trying to do the right thing, though I didn't agree with you at first. You still are now. The very best kind of witness there is. Thank you so much.

'Them out there' - I knew you were watching. Big giveaway. The innocent would not have been so concerned. And I will never, ever forget the people who stole and misused our - and my - words posted here, to damage the search for Jennifer. I noted every one.

Hello folks, it's been a while... :)

Hard to believe Jen has been gone almost 2 years now. I miss her and think about her every day...

Wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the kind thoughts and prayers, and for your continued faith that we would eventually reach this point. I think the case against GR is strong enough so justice can finally be served. I'm also hoping that soon we can all celebrate the day this case ends with a victory for Jen and her family and friends. Maybe then, hopefully, some healing can begin. Again, thanks to all for your support.

GR always maintained that Jennifer left home about 10:30 a.m. - I wonder if this could be closer to the actual time that 'he' drove away from the house rather than "at approximately 11:15 a.m"?. Maybe GR divulged the actual time to investigators in case someone had witnessed the minivan on the road around that time?.

The stay-at-home mom from Sheff Road in New Berlin was last seen on the morning of Dec. 11. Her husband, Ganesh Remy Ramsaran, told investigators his wife advised him that she was headed to the Destiny USA mall in Syracuse before she left the house at about 10:30 a.m., the sheriff said.

Thursday, December 20, 2012: http://www.thedailystar.com/news/local_news/article_abddee9e-867d-5c50-89f5-bfd3f6f81f92.html

McBride told the jury that evidence will show Ramsaran killed his wife the day after getting back together with his girlfriend. Evidence suggests he killed Jennifer early in the morning Dec. 11, 2012, cleaned up, and left their home with her body in her van at approximately 11:15 a.m., said McBride.

Today's trial was supposed to start around 8:45 AM, so should be going now. I'm not quite sure how tweeting works, but I'm off to find some tweets -- ES is testifying today -- very interested in that!
