There would have been blood in room murder occurred in; signs of cleanup with whatever product he would have had to use.

Didn't read today that he let Powell into his home and gave him a tour on the 12th, following day.

Blood is in the van and what, droplets??, on a sweatshirt he was wearing while "jogging."

I've been trying to figure out how blood didn't get on the sheets or the mattress or pillow. I'm guessing the amount of blood was somewhat small -- if, say, he knocked her out and then smothered her with a pillow or something. He didn't even notice the small amount of blood on his sweatshirt that he kept on when he ran to the YMCA. It doesn't sound like there was a lot in the van either.

Also, he may have killed her in a convenient location. For instance, a lot of us have discussed whether she was murdered in the bathroom. She may walked in there with her phone, playing the computer game. Another possibility is the basement workout area. Maybe he lured her down there. Fairly easy to clean up blood off a mat or floor.

I always thought there must have been some sort of tarp or shower curtain or something under her or around her when she was killed

When mistress returned to him, was back in intimate relationship w/him again on the 10th, though still living w/her husband, imo that may have been when he made up his mind once and for all to go forward with his most evil thoughts.

He was simply NOT going to risk "losing" her again...

May have perceived as less cruel of him to smother her once hit her on head with object and she was unconscious...perhaps, he could "live with it" a little better...all only mo.

Today, a photo was tweeted of two important witnesses at Jennifer's trial, hugging and smiling at the airport. One of them was Ganesh Ramsaran's mistress Eileen Sayles. She was smiling broadly. I was so shocked and dismayed by that.

Why is that odd. I lost a close friend that I loved. She lost someone she had loved. We both lost someone that had lied and deceived us. We can understand what the other is going through in a way others can't. I've also known her since early 2012. She is a very good friend to me. Nothing sexual just friends. It was sad to leave her. If you're always looking for evil in others that is all you'll find

But what would cut/lacerate you in the back or front of a van?

there was talk about blood in the wheel well of the van. maybe from that?
i believe this was during opening statements, so maybe mcbride tends to show this with upcoming testimony with a forensics expert

<snip>

At one point in the interview, Powell said, Ramsaran said he had sex with his wife shortly after awakening on Dec. 11, 2012, the day he said she later went shopping for Christmas presents.

He said Ramsaran had not mentioned he had sex with his wife that day when the first two spoke about the disappearance three days earlier.

During the Dec. 15, 2012 interview, Powell said: “He volunteered that. He was never asked.”

Meanwhile, the detective noted, Ramsaran never mentioned that he had sex with Eileen Sayles on Dec. 10, 2012. Sayles has confirmed that encounter in the testimony she gave on Monday.

Does anyone remember back when he listed his house for sale? There were pictures posted in here that were taken by the realtor of the inside of the house. In those pics, there was one picture that bothered me. It was a room with new unpainted sheetrock on the walls. The floor had a white rug that looked like mats or something. There were some areas of that rug that were a kind of off white color and didnt completely match the rest of the rug and over in the back corner of the room was a red splotch on the rug that looked like blood. The room had those plastic stackable bins in it with everyones shoes in it. There was a bed in that room and the other walls were all finished and painted. Only one wall had the new sheetrock. Maybe someone can go back in the threads and find the pictures of the inside of the house? This didnt seem right to me and i wonder if thats where it happened? Maybe that was the room that had the missing dresser in it and he got rid of it because it had evidence on it?

From today in court (morning until lunch only)

Rob Houston testified via Skype from England. RH played online games with Jen on a regular basis. The last message RH sent Jen asked where she went, as it was unusual for her to abruptly stop playing a game without signing off or saying goodbye. Text was sent at 8:15am on 12/11/12, the morning Jen was murdered. Jen never opened or read this message. Read receipt shows date/time messages are read. Message was opened on 12/14/14 by detective. RH sent money to Jen via Western Union. She said she was planning on picking it up that day, 12/11/12. It was never picked up. Jen told RH she would be going shopping later on in the week either Eileen in Syracuse.

Detective Kevin Powell: On 12/??/12 (sorry, didn't catch the date), went to GR's to get hair from the bathroom because GR called to say that Jen cut and dyed her hair. GR said it was dyed lighter than it had ever been. KP said GR's voice got shaky, and in his opinion wasn't an unusual response. GR sent screen shots to KP showing information gathered from the iphone locator app. GR said the phone was near a dead end road, maybe by a bridge. The blue dot indicating the phone's signal moved back and forth approximately 1/10 of a mile or less. KP said the blue dot was all in the same area. KP contacted mall security as well as hospitals while working the missing persons case, and reached out to people Jen had recent contact with..Will Hardy, Rob Smith, Rob Houston, and Bernie Foi. Garcia attempted to portray KP, as he has with other law enforcement officers, as incompetent.

Garcia danced (literally) around the courtroom while attempting to demonstrate to the jury the way in which cell phone pings move from location to location. He failed miserably. It isn't known where Jen's phone signal was coming from - satellite or tower.

DA McBride: WHY WAS GR TAKING PHOTOS OF THE PHONE AND NOT LOOKING FOR HIS WIFE?

On haircut/color: GR never mentioned Jen cutting and/or dying her hair until 12/14/12, the day he tried to convince Detective Powell that Jen altered her appearance to disappear. KP: Van covered in mud. No snow on ground. Ground not frozen. KP said mud was damp. Garcia suggested reason was because van had been recently placed there (Plank Road Manor Apts). KP said raid could have caused the mud to dampen. Garcia implied law enforcement incompetent because civilians found phone, body, and van.

Sheriff's office said not to search for the van? (Anyone? I missed this)

Lisa Harvey - law firm receptionist - Distefano Law - matrimonial law. Jen set up appointment. to talk to divorce attorney (Distefano) for 12/21/12. Jen's parents went to that appointment because Jen was missing.

Sarah Baker - corporate security specialist for NBT Bank, Norwich. Security footage from 12/11/12 was entered into evidence. Video shows ATM angle with road (Route 12?) in the background.

Justin Carpenter - city of Norwich PD: security footage from HoJo's - 12/11/12 - 10:00am-1:00pm. Motion activated. Alley between HoJo's and building next door.

BROKE FOR LUNCH

Do you think ES now believes he's guilty, or still not able to accept that? She said in a written statement to WBNG that she still loves him. Would she go back to him if he were acquitted, do you think?

Just a question, was it Jennifer's birthday on the 12 th December, the day before she disappeared? I'm pretty sure I read it while going through this case. If that's correct, was this significant in the events that unfolded? Sorry if this has been discussed before. TIA

Hi Prime - Jenn's Birthday is April 8th.

Well, accdg to GR, they'd had sexual relations that morning. She might have been nude at the time she was killed. But if nude...probably on bed...but no blood on bed or sheets. Unless in the bathroom...

I just thought he'd have covered her body or wrapped her up in something - for one thing -- he was driving about 30 miles with her nude body -- to keep a passing vehicle (like a jacked up pickup or a trucker -- someone driving higher up) from looking in the van and noticing a naked, dead body. Also, to keep any blood or bodily fluids off of van. But nothing like that was ever found. Of course, if someone found a rolled up tarp or shower curtain in some random place, they might not have thought much of it. He could have used something that was already in the house.

i don't know if she thinks he's guilty or not, but she did tell LE that she still loved him.
i personally believe that she would still be with him today if he weren't arrested.
jen's death didn't stop her from maintaining a relationship (ie. boinking him), even the day before she was murdered.
no moral compass ended the relationship - only his incarceration did.

RSBM

i doubt they actually had sex that morning, at least with jen as a willing participant.
remember the reports that jen had some physical ailment that made intercourse painful if not impossible for her?
i'm thinking this was waaaaaaaaay back, but it was reported somewhere, and we did talk about it here.
i think we talked about it in the context of her medications she was taking...

Thanks for posting that link, Jillian. I hadn't seen those photos before. It was really sad, looking at Jen's touches around the house -- and it all just left with all the personal things there. Teen daughter had her Mom's picture taped on her desk. I noticed there's white carpet in the master bedroom. That would be really hard to clean up. Couldn't tell if the master bath had carpet or tile.

She has stated clearly that she does not still love him. Your preconceptions of her let's you interpret what you want from the statement. You read a part and not the whole. No matter what she says or does she is wrong in your eyes.

Just like smiling in a good bye photo with a friend at the airport.
