She has stated clearly that she does not still love him. Your preconceptions of her let's you interpret what you want from the statement. You read a part and not the whole. No matter what she says or does she is wrong in your eyes.

Just like smiling in a good bye photo with a friend at the airport.

didn't more than one LEO testify so far that ES admitted to them that she still loved GR?

But the relationship was rekindled within days, Sayles acknowledged, and on Dec. 10, 2011, shortly after she had sent her two children off to school, the two went to state land off Whaupaunaucau Road and had sex in a vehicle.

Sayles said they kept in contact even after his arrest and while he was incarcerated at the Chenango County Correctional Facility. “We discussed how I love him. He loves me."

i doubt they actually had sex that morning, at least with jen as a willing participant.
remember the reports that jen had some physical ailment that made intercourse painful if not impossible for her?
i'm thinking this was waaaaaaaaay back, but it was reported somewhere, and we did talk about it here.
i think we talked about it in the context of her medications she was taking...

Well, I can't imagine Remy would say that, if not true (not that I believe that he's credible, just the timing of WHEN he said it. He volunteered this info AFTER he'd already admitted to the affair with ES. And he did say they didn't have sex much. I don't think it was ever actually confirmed that Jen couldn't have sexual relations or that they would be painful. I think we were speculating that this might be the case because of the condition she had (the name of which now eludes me) -- one of the posters said they had the same thing (or someone they knew well did) and that for them, sex was painful.

So, Remy has already admitted to his affair, why would he say he'd had sex with Jen that morning? Very curious. Was he trying to imply that they were happy together, even though he had his little tramp on the side? Or...did he have really have sex with her that morning, and know that when her body was found, they'd find his semen? (both doc didn't mention that this morning, did he?) And why? -- as a way of leading her down the primrose path...to trust him, not think anything of it if he came into the bathroom when she was in there or whatever? Or maybe...the guy was a bit of a sex addict...oh, I just cannot go where my mind keeps leading me...:(

For the record I still love him. I can't ignore what he did, just like I can't ignore the other 16 years. That in no way means that I approve what he did or I wouldn't have said anything. Me and ES caused Jen pain and we will have to find a way to deal with that. Neither of us killed her.

Has it been confirmed whether or not Jennifer's hair was actually cut/dyed as stated by GR?

With all due respect, Solus, first, I was not the one that commented about her smiling at the airport. She has a right to smile, and I don't judge her for that.

Secondly, I did indeed read her entire written statement, and I posted the entire statement here earlier. It's not a matter of being misquoted or it taken out of context, because WBNG printed her written statement in it's entirety, or in enough of it's entirety to understand the context. And in the statement, she said she still loved him.

I do find the way she said it to be a bit enigmatic -- the part about finding truth in lies when she said "I love you" -- have no idea what that means. Here's the part that I mean:

"One question that bothered me that I could not finish my reply to was 'if I still loved him,' and my answer was yes," Sayles wrote. "And if able to finish my answer, I would have told them that regrettably I used those words 'I love you' to find the truth in so many lies."

So, I'm just wondering...it seemed Eileen did believe Remy up until and after the time he was arrested. Or she was living in extremely deep denial. She testified herself about talking to him on the phone and visiting him in jail, and how he was all she had and vice versa. And...apparently she did eventually stop taking his calls (accdg to court testimony) -- just wondering why she stopped taking his calls -- was she just finding him annoying, or did she begin to believe he really was guilty?

I don't think highly of Eileen, but I feared for her life. I have said this before, long ago, repeatedly, even before Remy was arrested, in fact I've said it a number of times. I feared for her life, and I wanted her to be safe. I was afraid she'd be GR's next victim. I was quite relieved for her sake and for the children's sake when he was arrested, because he was a loose cannon, and they were all in harm's way.

The actual question during the trial was Mr. Garcia saying isn't it correct that when I spoke to you a few months ago that you stated you still love him. Then repeated did you not say you still loved him. The answer was left. Then look at what she said after your bold. She stated she said it to find the truth in so many lies. She wanted to be able to get answers from him. However you still read it the way you want because of your view of her.

Eileen slept with GR the day before Jen was murdered.
I think she still had feelings for him.

You stated she said she still loves him, then used links to previous (past articles) to support it. When I said you'll make stories up. Sorry, I didn't mean you as in Jillian specifically but globally.

Again the question has been asked if she still. Meaning currently loves him. The reference your using is 12/10/12

RSBM, BBM

according to testimony, GR said that Jen initiated sex with him that morning ("she rolled over for sex" or something like that). my guess is that he was trying to paint a picture perfect marriage for LE...or for the other reasons you mentioned.

no mention of semen today. maybe that will come up. i have a feeling it will.

Has it been confirmed whether or not Jennifer's hair was actually cut/dyed as stated by GR?

no. it was just testified to today by LE, who said that GR told them of her cutting her hair and dying it a blonde color...lighter than it's ever been.

Another observation during my time in NY. I saw ES was she was under a great deal of stress. When others added more stress or accusations to her. She never lashed out in anger, every time she responded with kindness and humility. When strangers yelled at her she never lashed back. She made a bad choice, she has and still is paying. Sorry though you can't stone her. You are defining all her actions with the results of that mistake. ES is the most humble person I've met. I'd rather have her as a friend than someone else that's so quick to judge.

They say you can't really know joy without grief. I don't think you truly feel empathy for another individuals without having caused another individual pain.

2 narrow band's on her back, sounds like the 2 tracks that hold the shower doors in to me, and found naked.ive always said it happend in the shower.

^^^ This.

^^^ This.

Wouldn't she just have told her online friend she was going to grab a quick shower and would be back in a few or 20 mins?

yes! this was a big part of rob houston's testimony today - the fact that jen never abruptly left an online game/conversation without saying goodbye and signing off.

reporters portrayed houston as elderly (seriously, they used that word). to twenty-somethings, maybe, but to most, no. he looked to be mid-50's or so. well-spoken and seemingly well-mannered.

lolol I saw it and wanted to ask, but...I figured he must really be elderly. In my mind, somewhere in one's 70s, late 70s. Hysterical

Ok, guys lets get back to discussing the trial and GR and not Elaine. GR is the murderer here, not ES, and not anyone else just GR. He did this all on his own.

Like I said before lots of women have affairs, lots of women make bad choices and generally men divorce their wives not murder them when he wants someone else. GR is a very twisted individual in my opinion.

  • #379
Did he say how she signed off usually?

Did he say how she signed off usually?

no - just that she always signed off or said goodbye, and that is was very unusual for her to just leave the game like that.

garcia tried to stress that jen was involved with other online gamers. she may have been in contact with them via gaming as is natural, right?

he's saying that police were incompetent in that they didn't interview other men, presumably gamers.

that's really reeeeeeaching.
