Maybe she did laundry when she stayed at their home (I believe this was mentioned, I hope my memory serves me right) that ES stayed at GR and Jen's home at one point-in-time when she left PS. Maybe laundry was her way of helping out since she was staying free.

I don't thing ES ever actually moved in with them (when Jen was alive). That was Remy's plan (yah!! wife and mistress all together -- PERFECT life!!), but I think all that moved in were her dogs.

In my past I have lied, cheated, explained away and made excuses. Recently I betrayed my best friend as well. I'm not the sum of all that I've done wrong nor the sum of all I've done right. Good people do bad things as bad people do good things. The world isn't so black and white. I'm glad that not everyone I've met has assumed those same actions would be repeated again.

Solus, imo, you did NOT betray your best friend. You did what was right, and stood up and told the truth. In a way, you were Remy's salvation, because if he hadn't been stopped, if he'd gotten away with it (like he was so sure he would), who knows how far he would have descended -- who would have been his next victim? Remy's only hope is to be forced to suffer consequences for his actions (and hopefully...at some point...taking responsiblity) -- because otherwise he would think (as he apparently did) that he was above the law and could get by with murder.

It's like having children -- you're not betraying your children when you discipline them for bad behavior -- rather, you are helping them develop into good citizens. So, please, don't beat yourself up for being part of the process of bring Remy to the discipline he needed to face.

And as far as goodness and badness -- yes, a "good" person can do bad things, can make mistakes, but a good persons admits their mistake, takes responsibility for it, and then strives not to make the same mistake again.

And, I also wanted to add that in the interview, you were the voice of logic and reason and honor. I really liked what you had to say.

The Chenango County man and former IBM manager convicted of killing his wife - after he reported her missing two years ago - is arrested in prison.

Ganesh “Remy” Ramsaran is accused of trying to bribe a corrections officer to help him escape. Investigators say Ramsaran offered to pay the officer $100,000.

:thud:

I guess it will be solitary confinement for him then, and possibly a longer sentence ...... what a fool :shakehead:

Here is another article ... I guess they will need to determine if he had any planned help on the outside too.

Police say it happened at 4:45 on November 4th at the Jail.

He was arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court and remanded back to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on one million dollars cash bail or 2 and a half million property bond.

The investigation is continuing with additional charges possible.

I wonder how much Dateline paid for all of those pics of ES and GR? $100,000?

It will be very difficult for someone like Remy to survive solitary.

That's quite a beard in the photo -- did he grow that in the past month?

Where'd he get the $100,000?

I wouldn't be surprised if Eileen was his next target.

What did he have to lose for exacting revenge on her for her betrayal?

I think she may have dodged a bullet here.

From what I gather, he is already being kept out of general population because he's deemed a threat to himself - a card he played to keep himself safe from other inmates.

Secret Lives is now available for viewing on NBC.

Thank you for the link to Dateline, just got to watch it now. I followed the trial midway on these threads and glad justice was served and Remy is locked up!

It was weird watching the show, the first 15 minutes I thought it was old footage when Jen first went missing, and Remy was the distraught husband and Eileen the close, caring friend. But no, Dateline chose to play it out like a movie/mystery, a bit crass really because they could have shown the evidence building from the start, Remy and ES words along side the evidence and that they were having an affair, would have made it more compelling, watching the liars from the beginning, especially for viewers who haven't followed the story and trial.

Remy was lying throughout but I could pick up from his body language when he said Jen played her game for over 8 hours a day, just as he said that he rubbed his nose. Nothing earth shattering compared to all the evidence but just a tidbit I've learned about hiding one's mouth when telling a lie.

My impression is the show was pandering to ES, she's the glamorous one in all of this. Quite sad that they chose that angle, I'm not sure what kind of standards Dateline holds to. Poor Jen wasn't represented justly imo, except for her friend who summed her up as a well rounded person. Jen obviously was a lovely woman and good mother, she deserved better than being presented more or less as Remy described her on social media. I am disappointed with Dateline.

I guess that may be a continuing concern due to GR’s obvious obsession. He probably won’t be too understanding if ES moves on, meets yet another partner, rebuilds her life with that person ... and GR is stuck in prison for ever and a day. In his mind, I think he believes he murdered Jen for her, and I’d say he definitely believes he did it for ‘them’.
