Well. I'm sorry, I don't know if I'm too far into this to see clearly but that interview just horrified me. I don't really know what I can say without putting the mods through more than they've already, extremely politely, dealt with on this thread.

I guess we can talk about our reactions to the article, given that it's a MSM article, right? From what I know of the rules, it seems like we can discuss GR in terms of his quotes. We've been so limited, but now here we have things right from his own mouth.

I don't have anything to say just yet, but just wanted to point this out :)

snip from that link:

"I was so proud of her because she was 190 pounds that Sunday the (Dec.) ninth. She hadn't been 190 pounds in years," Ramsaran said. "And you know, she changed unfortunately ... I'll leave it at that."
Ramsaran said he'd stayed silent to avoid disturbing the ongoing police investigation.

On the website above you can find a window which says click to submit a crime tip. (Anonymous)
I hope this is the right one...
Lavanda should know a more direct one I would think.

Why did he use the word "Unfortunately"... wow!

IMO he meant to imply her personality changed too and not in the way he would liked to have. IMO

oh yeah- validation :(

Anyone that thought about looking for her- now thinks she's a floosie w/ a gigolo-
and that is exactly what this was trying to accomplish.

I think so too.

Stereotypical generalization here, I know, but a lot of guys don't like it when their wives start losing weight and becoming more confident - they feel threatened by it.

I get that weight is very important to include on missing posters, and JR's weight loss is debatably important to her being missing, but as a woman of Jennifer's age, I gotta say... I would be MORTIFIED if my husband spoke of my exact weight (by number, in pounds) in the media or anywhere else.

This is my own bias and I'm happy to be open about it but if I ever heard my husband say 'she hadn't been [certain weight] in years' there'd be alllll kinds of upset when we got home.

Actually, yknow what, IMO that whole quote. I understand that he might be upset that he thinks maybe she left him. I dearly dearly hope that if my husband was in the same position he would be more concerned about whether I was safe, and about our kids, than to say something that so clearly implies that I was in some way to blame for where-ever I was.

Sorry, I just have to comment on this article: I don't buy the old "she changed before she disappeared" line. This is a lady who involuntarily went missing and was more than likely the victim of foul play. JR would not have abandoned her children, and her actions on that day don't sound like a woman who was planning on disappearing herself.

Any solid leads? Any ideas on what happened? Anyone??

JMHO.
