So very sad. I was afraid that this would be the outcome but it's still such a shock.

:rose:

I've been swamped at work (haven't had a day off in weeks - working 12-15 hour days - can I say that I hate audits???)

I just saw the article posted on fb. Oh, how I feel for the kids....I was the same as age the oldest when my Dad was murdered (unsolved). I pray that those kids get some serious help to process all the sadness and anger that will plague their lives....

Poor Jen. Such a beautiful woman gone too soon.

Oh My...

I am so sorry about your father, WestCoastLady! (BTW... I went to San Diego State a "few" years ago...:giggle:)

His passing must have been incredibly sad... And then having it be an unsolved murder... Well ....I just have no words...

RIP, Jennifer...

I hope you are aware... In some way... How many people love you and miss you...

:rose: :rose: :rose:

Devastating. We all knew this would be the outcome, but just so devastating... for her children, her parents and her real friends :(

Bearangel, even if you weren't involved in the finding search- THANK YOU. You amaze me.

I am confident that Bearangel, or some other concerned citizen would have located her long before now if the resources of volunteer searches had not been discouraged.. A Salute to all who searched and provided awareness to bring Jennifer Ramsaran home..

RIP Jennifer Ramsaran...

Thanks Kimster - and sorry to say I had it bookmarked all along :blushing:

No, it wasn't you. We had pulled it until we knew MSM reported and we felt safe in knowing the family wouldn't find out by reading our site. I hope they were informed in person by LE and not the media. :sigh:

Thanks, Krey and IHNC....it's been 40 years but the pain and the devastation never really end. My Dad was killed on 4th of July weekend in a "bad" part of Oakland, CA. His death was one of many (5?) homicides that occured in a 10 block radius that weekend. There were never many clues and we were just left to pick up the pieces and "carry on"....

If any of Jennifer's family is reading here, please take my story to heart and make sure that the children are given every opportunity to work through this tragedy with good counselors. I was never given that option and have made some very poor choices in life that can be directly tied back to the unexpected and tragic loss of my Father.

Someone on FB commented that it could be suicide. I wonder of the dexterous rock drove the van to Plank Road apartments.

It's sad to me that anyone is STILL in denial.

((Jennifer)) You didn't deserve this.

You are a strong lady to turn the tragedy of your father into a learning experience for others...

:praying:

That rock has a lot to answer for doesn't it?

Thanks - to me it just seems like a "no-brainer" that EVERYONE involved in a death/murder/suicide - and especially when it's your parent - should have mental health services provided (free of charge would be even better!) It's like my own private crusade to make sure people realize that the consequences ripple out over the years of your life....it never goes away.....
