I just thought of something... So please forgive me if this post lands at an awkward spot...

IIRC... After "the body" (poor Jennifer) was found... GR said LE went to his house ......"called down to him" (still don't know what THAT means).... requesting dental records...

Unless it is different in NY than where I live... But dental records of the type needed for IDing a body would be at the DENTIST's OFFICE... And not kept at home...

I don't have the X-rays of my family's teeth at home...

And I can't imagine that finding the dentist/orthodontist Jennifer visited would take a trip to the Ramsaran home... A couple of phone calls would be sufficient...and I would imagine LE would already have this information from conducting their investigation...

So... What was the real reason in :
1. LE's visit to GR

2. GR making this statement

(Answer to number one would be for LE to see IF GR was still in the area...condition of home... And more)

(Answer to number two...GR covering for what ever LE really communicated with him...in addition to the discovery of the body)

Again... Not sure where I am going with this... Just doesn't add up...

JMO

Clue: maybe when LE went to GR's house, he was upstairs and they asked him to come down? But then who opened the door to let them in? The kids? Family members there with him in support...?

GR "forgives investigators for the countless hours they spent searching his home looking for clues." Who would say that??? Keep on talking GR. I am anxiously awaiting for an arrest soon....that will happen won't it?

Well... I am certain LE is resting much more comfortably at night knowing GR has "forgiven" them for searching HIS home ....

LE has me worried, if they really did not ask for her dental records until this week. That is standard procedure when someone is missing, especially under the circumstances.

I so hope that is not why they went to see GR and that he is caught in a lie.

Called down to him? Was he in a well? WTH...

Do we know who says Jennifer did know about the affair and who says she didn't?

Rickblaine, an insider to the case who I got the impression knew Jennifer well, stated that he didn't know of her knowing (if that makes sense) and he believed she found out quite late in the piece, if at all.

CC and GR have both said that she didn't.

However, quite early on, just from sleuthing, myself and several other members here (I think? guys?) had suspicions. It's because of that that I believe Jennifer must also have had suspicions. We later found out that people in the community did know, or had serious suspicions also. So overall I personally think it's unclear whether she knew, or knew for long, but I definitely feel like she would've felt.. something. I think it's quite rare for people not to suspect. I also strongly suspect she was gaslit, a LOT.

So unless they were being very obvious, someone must have been talking - maybe boasting - about it?

ETA: the affair; this thread is moving fast.

It's a very small town, tongues wag, I was hesitant to believe the rumors until it was verified here and then eventually a "one time encounter" was admitted to.

So to answer your question. I don't know. ;-)

I do know that if you're spending a lot of time with a member of the opposite sex and people are speculating on an affair, it seems to me, that to put your partner at ease you'd curb your behavior. That didn't seem to be the case. IMO there was an attitude of "screw the gossipers" who in the end turned out to be right.

From everything I have read it was common knowledge in the community & was verified by an insider here that she knew. The only one(s) saying she didn't know are GR & I believe CC.

I don't think it was stated by any of the verified insiders that Jennifer knew about GR's affair with ES.

Many of the posters believe she may have, though.

RickB stated that IF she did learn of it, it probably was close to the time of her disappearance.

I suspect it's because of how GR presented it. IMO they came to tell him they had found a body and they thought it was his wife, and while they were there they asked for contact details of their dentist. But he seemed to want to hold onto hope that it might not be her, so he presented it in a way that they were just sort of checking in... covering bases, as it were.

Goes without saying that I find this odd. But I'm saying it anyway, of course.

My apologies, I thought he had stated that she found out late in the game.

IMO, I think it's really telling that if you google Jennifer - you find this site.

IF god forbid, I knew of someone, let alone they were a close friend or family that was in the media spotlight as a POI or being pointed to as a suspect, I'd sign my happy little butt up here and come on straight to defend them. EVEN if it meant that I looked foolish, or wasn't believed. (UNlike LNM - I'm talking a person, not an org.)

We have had numerous pages and posts and not one, other than from LD <modsnip> defending him. NO one saying how amazing he is. NO one saying that he could never have done anything to cause harm to his wife.

JMO but it really makes me wonder what people REALLY think about him.

<modsnip>

I agree. I mean, with the interviews he has given, as well, about this site, people must be wondering what the fuss is about. If I was in his position and my friends believed I was innocent, I have a feeling they'd be all up in all of your grills talking about how great I am, and probably even revealing sensitive information about why I couldn't have done it, just because they'd want to clear my name.

OTOH we have had a couple of people do that. Didn't go so well, if I remember rightly.

GR has updated his status. Talks about the "private service" so message him to be put on a list if you want to attend.

Yes. I was surprised to learn that it was AFTER their one-time sexual encounter, that the two became running partners.

Way to go to make sure such indiscretions don't happen again!

Snipped, BBM

A project manager for IBM who works at home, Ganesh Ramsaran said he also acknowledged in those interviews that he had a one-time tryst with a close friend of Jennifer Ramsaran who later became his running partner.

Difficult for me to believe, then, that this relationship was a one-time, fueled by alcohol tryst.

Imo, this info BBM was a clumsy attempt to plant a seed that the shopping trip by JR was only a ruse, and she was leaving town voluntarily, after dyeing her hair to disguise her looks.

So now you have to "ask" GR if you can go & pay respects to "his wife"? I can't imagine what Jennifer's friends & family are going through & thinking right now. :what:

This morning as I was getting ready for work, I was totalling thinking that maybe JR didn't know. Maybe she wasn't even suspicous (although I can't imagine her not being) but that something was about to come to light and she was harmed to prevent that from happening.

I remember early on, I was of the thought that ES basically told GR - it's her or me and there we have it. ES goes back to PS to make it appear one way but it's just a matter of time that it's ES & GR.

......who knows. Any arrests yet?

Jennifer Renz Ramsaran, the 36-year-old stay-at-home mom missing for a week under suspicious circumstances, had begun discussing the possibility of separating from her husband and had made new online gaming friends through her iPhone account, a family friend said Tuesday.

“It sounded like she was developing an emotional attachment to somebody,” said a source who spoke to The Daily Star on the condition of anonymity. “If there was somebody showing her an awful lot of attention, I could see her being misled.”

I would love to stay up, but it's 1am and I have to sleep. :please: I wake up to some news of an arrest or something!

You have a very valid point here....

Applying hair color - or a rinse is a bit of a lengthy process, especially at home. For most of the process, if not all of it - one is either barely dressed from the waist up and wearing an old towel or wearing very old clothes one does not mind staining with color (because it does not come out of cloth). Then, you're either rinsing off the gunk in the shower or bent over a sink. So, minimal clothing possible.

If you are blessed with an abundant headful of thick or long hair, the process becomes even more involved, possibly involving additional boxes of color and/or another persons assistance to ensure you're covering all your hair. My husband assists me with mine, especially in the back and I have to tell you, one is very vunerable at that point. Often your own hands are occupied holding the towel securely around your neck/shoulders and at the same time catching drips and protecting your eyes with another towel/cloth. Luckily my husband adores me and want me around forever, because if he did not - I'd be hard put to defend myself at that point........hmmmmmmm :waitasec: not sure I'm gonna let him help anymore.....

I can see this scenario, very clearly... I would think forensics would be able to verify that rinse was applied - as it's not a "permanent" color - it does not penetrate the hair as much as permanent color. But. If she were immersed in water so soon after applying the rinse, I cannot say it would not have come out over time? There would have to be traces left? Not sure.......

Super points...

and this would explain GR's "discovery" ... The night of Jen's disappearance...of the dye, hair clippings, etc.left in Jen's bathroom...

she never had time to clean it up! :(
