I'm soooo incredibly sad to read the terrible news that a body was found. :cry:
And I'm praying that justice will prevail and the killer(s) will be ousted no matter who they are.

I updated the map to highlight the area of road between Rhinevault and Coy on Center Road as that was stated to be the area of the road that was closed to the traffic. Also add two additional RSO's that somehow never made it on the map earlier.

I visited the site today and have some serious doubts that the body was there since Dec 11. There was no snow until a week later, we had a lot of snow since then and much less at times than we have now.

Very sad and sobering to me. RIP Jennifer.

What gives you doubt? That she would have been seen earlier? Or that she was on top of snow? or???

1600' south of Coy road in that clearing is the location where the body was found. Not even outside the snowbank.

If her family was notified and it's true that it is confirmed that it's JR (which I believe,) is the possible reason as to why it hasn't been confirmed in media or a presser - because they are pending an arrest?

Is anyone else disturbed by the photo of him in front of the window waiting for the results on the body that was found? It's on one of the local news FB pages.

I can't imagine having ANYONE in my house while waiting for such news let alone taking pictures of me.

Sorry if that's off topic but it's really bothering me.

Conspicuously absent from this photo are all the yellow "please come home" ribbons that were up for the other interviews. If Mommy left, and they're looking for "a living Jennifer," why wouldn't they leave them up, at least for the kids' sake?

I know you can't really say much but do you know if LE has a POI or suspect? Is there any reason to believe there may be an arrest?

Can't say with 100% certainty yet. Personally though, I believe there will be an arrest.

I think so too. Thanks a lot for everything Jillian. Especially having to deal with all of the extra drama and unwarranted behavior.

Please extend my personal sympathies to her family. If there's anything I can do to help, I'm on it.

Here's my crime novel: Yes there was a planned trip to the mall ( I have driven that many miles to find the right dress for my daughter),while getting ready a disagreement erupted and an awful accident happened causing great harm. Panic resulted because who would believe the truth? So, in a panic there was what others here have said, a temporary place to hide. Then a plan was hatched and the rest is on the internet. I would write this as a terrible ,spontaneous chain of events and only after the fact, were plans made to cover it up. In any good novel, there would have been better "covering up" then we see here because there wasn't a lot of planning. This is fiction. God, will I get in trouble here?

Another crime novel would be that a friend that is known to the victim-not an online friend, I.e., a frenemy, went with jr to the mall, had a disagreement, something happened and the cover up began. Maybe the friend contacted someone else to help cover it; however, I find the other stories a little more believable. I hope that her family receives the closure they need, and the next step is to find justice for her. Whoever did this needs to be caught.

I was thinking that along with a "I'd better look out this window while I can, won't be seeing the outdoors for long...." Honestly if he was a truly nervous husband awaiting possible terrible news-he would be with his children, trying to assure them all is going to be alright & no media outlets would be in his home at such a time.

I wondered about the body being there long term as well. The person that discovered her (my friend works with him) said he noticed something across the street from his driveway...but we didn't have snow the week JR went missing. And we have had some warm spells before the most recent one.
