"Not knowing is the toughest. Her mom and dad have been searching endlessly along with everybody else, but it's tough," said family friend David Drew.

Now, they are waiting to find out if a body discovered in Chenango County belongs to Jennifer.

"I can't wrap my head around it. That's not remotely where I have been these last two months or so," said Jennifer's husband Ganesh Remy Ramsaran
.

FINALLY someone in the media mentions Jennifer's PARENTS! But isn't GRs statement odd? Is it just me, or does this man have an uncanny ability for the most awkward statements ever at the most inappropriate times?

Jen's sister has posted reflecting the loss, I'm going to believe her over someone who hadn't even met the family until a week ago. My heart aches so much for her parents and her sister, with all the things they've been subjected to. When I read about her father searching I just cried, and when I came in this afternoon and Jen had been found... well if I'm honest I felt flat out numb for awhile but now I'm tearful.

Hey all, signing on for the first time today but I've been reading and am pretty much caught up. I have a huge headache from not sleeping enough, and from doing this :banghead: over all the stuff I've been reading on fb. Literally :furious: right now.

Piperdog, LE would never let you. Can you imagine what a defence attorney would make of that;

"You found fibres from my client's jacket on the body and ground? Of course you did. They went there for identification, what would you expect?"

EXACTLY my point. He wouldn't be invited to the crime scene because he is a suspect. Thats the point I was trying to make.

Is he trying to say that he has been searching with her Mom and Dad?

Oh I thought he was trying to say in his thoughts he had not remotely been there? ie - thinking JR was not alive? I'm confused :waitasec:

Something ain't right with his talk, for sure.

I can't help but read references to "Ramsaran's family" as his family - not hers. Jen's family knows, and they've let it be known to others, quietly, just as they've looked for Jennifer, quietly, while the media get distracted by the "shiny thing".

Ummmm, why would he expect Jennifer's body to be found somewhere he has been?

Whoops, I see what he might have been trying to say now. I think. Funny choice of words though.

ETA: emotional, rather than physically being there.

"They stopped by last night at 11:20 p.m. They called downstairs. They just wanted to confirm who our dentist was and more importantly, they were just here to tell me about the body they had found," said Ganesh Remy Ramsaran. -

Very interesting...look at the order of importance

Exactly. What policeman would lead with the dental question first if they didn't think it was her? And why does it say the called downstairs? Did GR not go to the door and speak to them? And if LE really think he had nothing to do with it, why just call out and not sit down and break the news gently?

JMO - there is no way it is taking this long for ID (forensic). The pins in her toes, stature etc should be enough plus dentals. Her REAL family seems sure it is her.

I can't believe that GR keeps putting himself out there for interviews!

The fact that he thinks no one 'really' suspects him is ridiculous.

I have many recipes for crow, but I'm not getting them out just yet.

"Ohai! We were just driving by and thought you might give us the name of your dentist. Oh, and we found a body. Laters!"

I thought he was doing what he has all along...answering questions before he is asked....

I'm confused. Each article has him saying some different info. Has he been sitting and doing separate interviews with each paper/station? Or is it one interview and they share the details?
And he said "they came at 11.20pm last night" I take this to mean he started doing interviews first thing in the morning??
Why is his first priority doing interviews, inviting strangers into the home and not looking after the kids?
Can't even imagine how those poor children are feeling now

'hey we know it's late and we could just call but we were just wondering who your dentist was? Why do we we want to know? Oh it's nothing just found a body and its pretty near where your wifes phone was so thought we should check....'

I don't always love LE. But I don't think they're THIS weird.

Interesting as well- this implies there was no way to recognise her other than dental?

Was the perp silly enough to perhaps think that police wouldn't be able to identify the body at all?

Dammit your sarky comment was way funnier than my sarky comment
