Unfortunately the other day one of Jen's kids was being bullied on the bus about her death. Thankfully my son stepped in and stopped it. It infuriates me that they have to deal with this on top of the loss of their mother.

So very sad how mean kids can be....they don't understand the ramifications of it until many years later.

Csleuth was that incident on the bus to school in the morning, or on the bus in the afternoon on the way home?

We did think that GR drove them both ways. Would be very strange for them to be taking the bus now...:waitasec:

And we never hear From GR..."I can't imagine the pain, fear that Jennifer might be going through..."

We only hear about how Jen's missing is a "curve ball"... That it making HIM lose sleep... HIM lose his appetite...

This is so sad for Jennifer... Especially since we have discovered the way it ended! :(

Most people with a missing loved one is worried about what the missing loved one is enduring, not themselves. Especially once they are found you normally hear things in regards to the hurt over the fear or pain their loved one may have been in and even the feeling of hopelessness with not being able to help or save them. Not once did we hear these types of statements in the numerous interviews we've seen, and if there were statements made remotely attempting to say something of this sort it ended up being in regards to the impact of DH instead. It breaks my heart for Jennifer & makes me wonder what she endured by thise she trusted, prior to her life being taken.

I wonder which vehicle he used when driving the children to school? Did he take Jen's van, or did he have a van too? With the children I would think the mini-van would be the chosen vehicle? Someone mentioned possbily POB that their could have been someone in the back of the van when Jen left for the mall. Could that have taken place if GR first used the van to drop the children off picked someone up and then returned and parked the van?

They both had minivans.

"Cutting said based on the preliminary examination of the van that was recovered, there was no sign that a struggle had taken place in that vehicle."

A Tip Jar???

why didn't they just go ahead and have a dollar dance... Like at wedding receptions...

:silly:

wonder what song he would have chosen for this dollar dance?

He said, and thet's the problem (unless of course it's corroborated by some other sources). I have a hard time believing a person who wouldn't do any chores at home, would be driving kids to/from school.

yes, but remember "the list." there were very important clues to look out for while looking for a "living jennifer." it included that she wasn't a morning person. liked hamburgers (plain with no condiments), was patient, never ate sandwiches or subs (ever), used to like cherry coke, but switched to water with lemon as her drink of choice, use balsamic vinaigrette as salad dressing, etc. etc.

Bear thought for the day : It is a popular misconception that circumstantial evidence carries less weight or importance than direct evidence. This is only partly true.
While direct evidence is generally seen as more powerful, most successful prosecutions rely greatly on circumstantial evidence.
Circumstantial evidence often has an advantage over direct evidence because it is more difficult to suppress or fabricate.:rocker:

Sorry I'm on iPhone so can't highlight the text I'd like, I chatted to Jen at 6:30am her time many times, she was up to get the children ready for school every day.

I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about the area where Jennifer's body was found. Could that have been a plot of land that they had considered buying when they moved to NY? Who owns it....private or state land. Has it ever been for sale in the last 10 yrs or so?
Also, I think that this has been discussed but I can't remember....Who owned a house-land in that area first...JR and GR or Mr and Mrs Renz?

Thanks Jillian POBs theory made me think about this. Even if he took his own van (not sure if they parked in a garage), when GR went back in house the person could have snuck into JR's van. Just a theory but thought it could make some sense in how she ended up so close to her home. I doesn't sound like she would be the type to pick up a hitch hiker.

:what:

Interesting Pob. The list I'm referring to is a list of characteristics GR gave to his PR person.

Thank you for clearing that up.

I'm sure it brings even more question (if that's even possible at this point) as to his many lies.

They don't have a garage.

Personally, I don't think there was a struggle in the van. I think she never made it out of her house alive.

Unfortunately Jillian, I agree. It also seemed to me it was JR not GR that drove them to and from school.

Which makes you question why he says he did that day? Did he or did he say he did? And if he did why did he & not Jennifer?

Not particularly that day, I mean in general. She would post "school run bbl" or something similar many days.

This is what makes me wonder if he (GR) brought someone back with him.

Hmmmm, according to a poster on the last page, one of the children were bullied on the bus. If that's true, what happened to him driving them to school?

IMO the driving them to school is another instance of throwing pasta at the wall, hoping one little piece sticks.

From Verified Insider Rick Blaine:

My understanding is the morning unfolded as a typical morning would. That would of course include the kids seeing Mom, and Dad driving them to school....

They are typically driven in by their dad. That probably delays them from having to leave the house by 30 minutes or more, as they are nearly the first -and earliest - stop the bus makes in the morning.

However, Rick would/could not answer how and when the children returned from school that day, nor how the children typically arrived home.

I need to look back for it but I thought they were driven because being the first on the bus made for a long ride but that they ride the bus home because they were the first off.....
