Every statement from friends like the one above is only being evaluated from one perspective. You're looking at it as if it is being said by a person that had first hand knowledge of exactly what happened to Jen and was involved in a massive cover up to hide it.

Being a friend of GR doesn't imply conspiracy. If a friend of yours was accused of being involved in a crime, does that infer every comment you made was an attempt to conceal the crime for them.

Regarding the under garments: I'm not sure what you are referring to. However, I tend to agree that GR knows nothing about women :).

Re lingerie: i meant never try to second guess a woman and her reasons for buying/stashing lingerie. Its all about self esteem.

Anyway, i am in no way even referring to whomever actually said the statement 'it sounds like..', if it was even said. 100% of my problem with it is the news paper that reported it and that the article was edited poorly to give the statement more, or different meaning. Therefore, without any context the statement must be discounted as third hand hearsay gossip. IMO.

I do not have any first hand knowledge of the apps that she was using. I will explain what I have been told about what apps, once I've been verified.

I guess I'm still confused about the phone apps and phone games having anything at all to do with her disappearance....

BBM

I agree, according her parents did not see any changes going on, according to the sister.

I hardly ever find anonymous sources credible, why the need to be anonymous?

i feel the same way.

i tend to breeze through any comments pertaining to gaming altogether (unless they're talking about direct conversation with jennifer, ie. Pob).

GR wanted everyone to believe that she met an online lover, possibly via gaming, at the very beginning.

sure enough, people bought into it, and as a result, believed she left willingly.

who cares that she played online games?

I'm not sure that it does. It was mentioned simply because it was something that was going on at that time. It has been jumped on due to the way it was inserted in the article.

:rocker:

EXACTLY SO what she played games. So what she used apps on her phone. It was all an exaggeration. IMO

This is the number one thing that really wants to make me throw something at the screen. :furious:

I don't understand how anyone would possibly know that she was spending so much time on apps unless they lived with her IMO. The very fact that her gaming was even brought up is really fishy. An illusion to mask the truth.

If I am with friends and they notice I am playing with my phone they never say "Hey, what game are you playing?" or "Hey, are you emotionally attached to the person your are texting?"

If I am on the phone when I am with friends its because I am bored.

I wanted to believe Jen left willingly. Because that was the only scenario that played out in my mind to where she would return safely. All others led down paths, that I didn't want to consider yet.

Since the chatting methods within a game is limited. In my experience the chatting moves outside the game to Skype or Yahoo Messenger for example. Not that it continues within the game environment itself.

It is still an assumption that the anonymous friend was suggesting the emotional attachment had happened. But made the comment while discussing hypothetical scenarios that could have led to Jen becoming missing. The latter is not suggesting she developed an emotional attachment, but as a possible event in regarding a possible scenario. Where as the former suggests it was happening.

However when you read the comment in the article it screams as if the person is saying that it happened.

I get the initial hypothetical question. Everything would need to be ruled out as no one would want to believe that a loved one was victim to foul play and/or murdered (random foul play or death by a known perp.)

However, the tragedy in this case was that it became of the belief of the general population that Jennifer, did in fact leave on her own accord.

To me, it doesn't matter who made the initial comment, anonymous or otherwise. Mr. Ramsaran never clarified anything in the media. Everything was said in contradictions and confliction.

I'm passed what "anonymous" said and the intent behind it. I am just very focused on ensuring that whomever did this to Jennifer is arrested.

I will explain that once I'm allowed.

The following comments are not about Jen. This is in now way infer, hinting or suggesting that the following is about her.

I do find it odd in an a community that is online. That it is so unfathomable to spend multiple hours a day talking to someone. I'm embarrassed to admit that several years ago, I was spending 4 - 6 hours a day for several months talking with a friend online. I looked forward to going online and talking to her. That is how I view an emotional attachment. Not talking about being in love, just an excitement or connection for lack of better words.

From the comments on this site, I would have to guess I'm alone in that mindset.

GR wanted everyone to believe that she met an online lover, possibly via gaming, at the very beginning.

How do you know that was the intent? What is supporting that decision?

Yes, it does sound absurd.

As Solus has pointed out, her communication with the mythical gamer would have likely progressed to Skype or Yahoo messenger.

And, of course, LE has inspected her phone, and her phone records, and her computer, and would have come across an electronic trail, if one existed.

And we haven't heard any warnings from LE about the Camelot Killer who preys on stay-at-home Moms and lures them away from their families to a snowy grave.

But be on the alert, Ana and POB -- you never know.....

Hey, maybe I'll start a new life with a websleuther! :great:

IMO everything that was said by GR and said by his pr team support this intent.

  • #934
What exactly did I say that was inconsiderate to Jen's feelings. What have I done that showed a double standard in the treatment of JR vs GR?

There is a massive assumption that everyone involved is for one or against the other. That is not the case.

I didn't know I was referring to you. What made you think I was?

Thank you, I hope you view these questions as an attempt to see things from your point of view and not for the purpose to simply aggravate.

I just had my kids this weekend and I've had to constantly make the statement to quit aggravating the other.

Solus, welcome. I took some time out and went to a family wedding yesterday, so I missed your arrival.

I appreciate very much what you're trying to say and look forward to your verification.

I'm viewing the posts in Linear mode, lol. I'm sorry for inferring that you were. This is the second apology this morning. It's difficult to not become defensive when your viewed as being complicit to a cover up. Or you question was has become the standard view point. As I mentioned to another, I kinda feel like a turd in a punch bowl around here.

oh, just a wild guess since it was one of the first things that was focused on.

he didn't mention that she taught knitting classes, was a girl scout leader, a wonderful mother, and was also otherwise involved in various community activities. in the beginning, he never mentioned any of her wonderful qualities at all. in fact, all he talked about were what he viewed as her deficits and her "changing."

seems like he purposely left all the good out to me, yet the "anonymous friend" deemed it important to mention that she played online games and possibly formed an emotional attachment to someone. big whoop.

that planted the seed for many community members to believe that she just took off, when she was dead the entire time, IMO. and that planted seed had everything to do with her not being found for 84 days, in my opinion.
