Press Release

State Police in Pulaski are attempting to locate 21-year-old Jordan M. Novak from Mexico, NY.

Jordan was last seen on Sunday, December 3rd leaving her residence at 86 Wayne Street. She told family members she was going to a friend’s house but never returned home.

Jordan is approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall, 280 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, and gray sneakers.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Jordan M. Novak, they are asked to contact State Police Headquarters in Oneida at (315) 366-6000.

Obvious questions: Does her family know the identity of the friend and if she ever arrived at that person's house? How far from her home was the friend's house? Did she walk, drive, take public transportation or a ride share, or did someone pick her up?

Novak’s relative Lindy Rodriguez posted a message this week on Novak’s Facebook page, seeking volunteers to search for Novak, going door to door and handing out flyers, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. today. The posting asks the volunteers to meet at the gazebo on Main Street in downtown Mexico.

“Please and Thank you,” the posting reads. “Let’s bring her home!!!!!!! Share please.”

The message had been shared 29 times as of Friday afternoon.

Several other notices about Novak being missing have been posted by various friends and relatives.

It's been reported that she left her phone and ID in a shed at home.

That doesn't sound good. Especially leaving the phone. MOO.
