Otsego County sheriff's deputies are looking for a missing teenager who may be in Oneonta.

Joseph Amaro, 15, left a relative's house in the Cooperstown area Jan. 10 but failed to return to his Westford home.

He is a suspected runaway, deputies said.

Amaro was last seen Jan. 17 on East Street in the city of Oneonta, and deputies said he may be staying in Oneonta.

Amaro is about 5 feet 4 inches and weighs 140 pounds. He has short brown hair, brown eyes and both ears pierced.

OMG. . . I lived there for almost a year as it's ex's hometown. If you read the blotter for the police reports you can see that it's extremely quiet. Being as it's less than twenty degrees there this week, I'm sure he's hiding out in someone's basement.
