Silver Alert issued for missing Upper West Side man

Upper West Side, Manhattan, New York City, New York -
Police are looking for a 64-year-old man who went missing after leaving his home on the Upper West Side Thursday morning.

Joseph McWalters, 64, of West 100th Street, was last seen leaving his apartment around 8:30 a.m., wearing a black jacket, blue pants and brown sneakers. He’s six feet tall weighs 180 pounds.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

A Silver Alert has been issued for Joseph McWalters, a 65-year-old white male from West 100th Street and Central Park West in Manhattan. The missing man is bipolar and has high blood pressure, and may be in need of medical attention.
