As an Occupational Therapist Ms. Garrido would NOT be a doctor unless she holds a Ph.D. in occupational therapy. OTs are not medical doctors (MDs) or doctors of osteopathy (DOs). They cannot diagnose health conditions, prescribe medication, or perform surgeries. In Florida, however, they are required to have a masters degree (or doctorate). The Florida Board of Health lists her license status as an OT and details her disciplinary action within the state which also included 2 entries regarding public complaint (the legal documents pertaining to that found in the link below indicate the events came out of the retail theft charge that Truthfinder found in the minutes linked for the OT board minutes)

I'm wondering why the transfer to White Plains hospital. It is not far from NYC, but it's outside the city in Westchester County. From what I can tell, it's a general hospital, not one with a specific specialty.

I hope she found shelter - she would need an indoor place if she's only wearing scrubs and sweatpants.

Weill Cornell Hospital from which she was being transported is part of the Weill Cornell Psychiatry New York-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health which is on Bloomingdale Road in White Plains. So the two places are associated. It's conjecture at this point that her issue was psychiatric in nature, but it is a possibility. That is starting to make sense. I am worried about her and where she could've gone alone and without outerwear.

It's not that cold out today, but a big cold front is about to come in. Hoping she is inside somewhere!

No news, much of the same.

Note that all articles mention she was using a private ambulance, meaning a non emergency service.
On top of MH, the two linked hospitals are also quite on oncology as far as I can see.

I hope she is OK, strange that there are no news, Manhattan is busy 24/24, someone must have seen sth.

Where would she go? Scrubs as a top are distinctive, though in the area where she jumped out of the ambulance is obviously a place where there are medical employees so maybe doesn't stand out too much.

Does she know somebody in NYC other than her sister? It rained today - where did she spend her time? Is she making her way back to FL? How?

Zero updates that I can see.

This is a strange one! I would think with all of the cameras in NYC there should be some way to see where she went. If she were being transported from one hospital to another there's a good possibility she has a handbag and phone with her.
Weather is upper 30's - lower 40's today. I do wonder how familiar she is with the city.

A beautiful woman goes missing in a rather quiet neighborhood and no ongoing updates leads me to think perhaps she was found and it just hasn't been reported. Maybe she's in the hospital and they will not provide info for privacy sake. I hope that is the case. jmo
