Police search for missing 11-year-old from Brooklyn

Investigators say Juchelle West, 11, was last seen heading to school around 7 a.m. from her home on East 35 St. in East Flatbush.

She is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing about 80 pounds, with brown eyes and black and burgundy braided hair. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue pants.

Police said West does not appear to usually run away from home.

What a gorgeous young girl. So worried for her.

Didn't we have a similar missing girl case in Brooklyn a year or so ago? A weirdo in the neighborhood grabbed her and took her to an abandoned hime, IIRC. :rose:

I really hope this is not the same type of tragedy.

That was in Ohio I think? But there were other disappearances of young girls in the area too.
