Now the parent's have been named, could someone post Mom's FaceBook. Somebody upthread had it.

I'm confused about his twin. He is 5. There were a 3 and 4 year old at home. Where was the twin 5 year old?

There is no twin, the post you read was referring to a different case (Malik) Also, the parents have been cleared.

WOW...thanks for posting. Gives a lot of insight into what some may be saying about the mother. Sounds like she has been having some serious health issues and really loves her children. Sounds like family was doing what family does in trying to help out. The focus needs to be on what happened to this little boy at the hands of the man they have in custoday and the 19 year old who made up the story. Poor sweet little Kenneth.

I think this photo may be misleading. While he certainly does look sad, I don't necessarily think he lived with abuse, but rather a very sad situation where he was unable to live with his mother who is ill. It sounds like he was very much loved by his mother and aunt. Apparently, neither of these women, nor the father, had anything to do with his death, so they too are victims. I wonder if this may have been the last picture they took of him as he was leaving to go live with his aunt. Just a thought. But it just makes you wonder how someone could ever hurt such a sweet, innocent, defenseless little boy. I wonder if he may have been acting out because he missed his mommy and someone with a short fuse and a black heart had no compassion and ended his short little life. I hope they are able to find out exactly what happened and find justice for this baby boy.

Kenneth was also a twin, according to the sheriff this morning.

Comments on one of the news stories indicated the sister was living with the father, which would fit.

The Albany Times-Union reports that police now believe that story was a hoax.







"Authorities have questioned a person of interest in Kenneth's death and have him in custody.

Albany County Sheriff Craig Applee told the Times-Union that he expects the suspect to be charged with murder.

Thanks for hanging in there last night, Kimi. I'm sorry I wasn't more help.

No way carbuff, don't even think or say it! I couldn't have made it through last night without you especially on the downstairs thread. Honestly, everyone who posted on both threads were amazing :tyou: all.

I was in complete denial throughout the entire ordeal. My BabyGirl (a few weeks away from her 8th birthday) was asleep at my side. She's still recovering from a concussion she got over the summer.

The dichotomy was ripping my heart to shreds. Her struggles (with her health and at school) have been a challenge, and as I watched her sleep, I had my :earson: and was trying to follow this thread & twitter via iPhone. I felt like I couldn't do enough - fast enough (if that makes sense).

It all felt like a wild goose chase (and in the end, it WAS!) :tantrum:

Sadly, as more details come to light, we will only become more and more upset and angry.

I'm wondering (and I suppose it will come out soon enough) who was actually living in that home? The aunt and another adult male, both with the same last name but not married? Father/daughter? Brother/sister? Cousins? (It's a very uncommon last name so there's no way they're not related somehow) The aunt's daughter (the 19 yr old) and little Kenneth's two younger siblings?

I'm seeing conflicting reports about who is actually in custody. One said a man, others say the suspect is not being identified at this time.

So... the aunt of Kenneth, mother of the 19 yr old, is not married to the other adult male in the house with the SAME, very uncommon last name, and the 19 yr old who told the fake story about men in ski masks, is their daughter?

And, from reading elsewhere, little Kenneth has a twin sister that was living with their dad, while he lived with their aunt? WHO DOES THAT to twins?!

This is all so messed up & confusing.
