who did Kim call---or who got the call from her phone on Feb 10???

Do we have a map of the area. Possibly she left on foot to visit a neighbor? With it snowing and it was dark I would think it would be hard to see. So I don't think she left on foot. I think she left in a car, not by choice. She looked like she was on a good road to getting her kids back.

I believe the article just said "activity" - -not necessarily a call. I kinda remember something similar in the Jennifer Ramsaran case. Apparently, the husband picked up the phone, or turned it off, or something...and that caused it to "ping" at the house...AFTER she was supposed to have left the house and gone shopping.

I've been trying to locate a map of the area...I can google Arcadia, and the road, but can't find the trailer park. I do remember reading in comments somewhere (maybe FB?) by her friends that there wouldn't have been anywhere to walk to from there -- too far.

Her friends are organizing a search for her this Wednesday -- it's supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow and that day, so will be good conditions for searching -- the snow has already started melting, and more will have melted by then. Also inviting them over here.

I was looking back at the news articles, and noticed that her stepfather said she left her phone at home in this article http://13wham.com/news/features/top...r-missing-newark-woman-wants-help-20213.shtml

That seems really strange -- to leave both her purse and her phone. Apparently someone (husband?) said phone wasn't working (reported in earlier article), but clearly it was if the boyfriend received a text at 7:07 that evening (1/2 hour AFTER hubby said she'd left).

In one of the comments under one of the articles, someone suggested she may have been hit by a snow plow -- and that thought occurred to me as well, as it was snowing that day and that night. If that had happened, she'd have been buried under the snow. But there's also a lot that doesn't add up with the husband's statements. Not to mention that if a woman is going to be harmed by a partner, she is at greatest risk at the point of ending the relationship.

I googled Fairview Maple Ridge Road, and then zoomed in with satellite, and the trailer park appears to be at the junction of Buffalo Road and Fairview Maple Ridge Road. From what I could tell from satellite view, that area, aside from the trailer park, and some nearby houses, seems to be mostly farmland -- open fields, and apple orchards, and some wooded areas. Not sure if this will work: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Arc...1a758b3ed9!2m2!1d-77.1005841!2d43.1368565!3e0

Attorney: Missing woman’s husband has cooperated
March 8, 2015

http://www.fltimes.com/news/article_21b78b58-c53d-11e4-ab05-33dcdbbdd7df.html

Hmmph...perhaps the attorney could explain why...if his client had nothing to do with Kim's disappearance...he told him to stop talking to police. If he's representing Tom on the child custody issue...wouldn't social services be more favorable to a father who is fully cooperative in finding his wife, rather than hiding behind an attorney? Also, perhaps the attorney could explain the discrepancies in Tom's story -- he says Kim left at 6:30, and phone wasn't working, but she texted Adam at 7:07. And why did he wait until the next day to report Kim missing, when she supposedly left on foot, without her purse, and without warm enough clothing for that frigid, snowy night?

I continue to wonder what it is that isn't being said. There have been several allusions to "if they knew what we know" kind of thing.

To answer your question about why he didn't report her missing until the next day - I think the answer could be as simple as she has a lover, and she left in the evening. It would seem like harassment on his part to report her missing while he probably thinks she's with her boyfriend.

From what I can tell here in the article, if he's innocent, he's given them all he knows and then some. This isn't like his beloved dear wife has gone missing - he was in the midst of a rancorous divorce and she has a lover. His feelings might be conflicted in that he might believe she's disappeared on purpose to spite him.

Which I don't think is the case.

I completely understand why he would wait to report her missing. I still don't understand some fb behavior from the bf. This whole thing reminds me of one of the twisted ID channel shows. I noticed in a photo that she smokes, I wonder if she took cigarettes/lighter or where she purchases her smokes if it was within walking distance?

and he "lawyered up" as I like to say...........hmmm........great pic showing the lake/pond on the property.......the "her cell phone was not working" rankles with me......and also---if I am leaving for a second I leave my phone and purse, leaving longer I have purse, keys and phone.....

I wondered what the TV reporter said that was so accusatory/deemed accusatory? Unusual for a reporter to be biased in their reporting--am not being sarcastic of course---just find it odd if it actually happened of course. MOO

Police continue search for missing mom Kimberly Rouland
State troopers started their search again Wednesday starting at 9 a.m. for Kimberly Rouland — who was reported missing Feb. 9. Rouland is considered a missing person but under suspicious conditions, said Stubbe, explaining that she left her home with no winter coat. Troopers have not found her cell phone and efforts to "ping" it to locate it have been unsuccessful, Stubbe said. The phone was either turned off or the battery had died. A smaller search will be done by the Department of Environmental Conservation in boats looking in the creek at Swift Landing Park along Hogback Road in Palmyra, he said.

Just thinking outloud...

If I'm leaving home in a light weight jacket in the winter, I plan on getting in a vehicle...

She may have been going a quick step to a neighbor or she had maybe a thermal layer or two under a lighter coat.........I have done that b/c a coat can be bulky when driving or as a passenger owing to a seatbelt....

Yes. I posted the link to the Wayne Post in the post above yours. It's really looking to me - IMHO - that the husband isn't guilty. I don't see how anyone can call him "controlling" while his wife is living with him and carrying on a public relationship with another man. That sounds actually kind of not controlling his life enough - most men wouldn't put up with that.

I don't blame him - at all - for getting a lawyer. It must have been obvious from the beginning that he's the #1 suspect.
bbm...maybe he didn't..
