IF she was headed towards her BF's & IINM, going thru Marion would be the shortest route, rather than south thru Arcadia, by about 3 miles.

Her boyfriend was at work that night (or so he says on FB), so she wouldn't have been going over there. They were planning on moving into a new home/apt the next day -- wonder where that was? Also, I noted on her FB that she has Macedon for where she lives, which I believe is quite a bit west of the trailer park.

Here is Kimberly's FB page. I am a little confused because it looks like she has a boyfriend and a husband. In my opinion, this is not looking good.

By Feb 19th her BF had given himself a tattoo (& the same one & in the same place - around the wrist - to someone Kim's daughter referred to as "aunt") that is roman numerals for 2/9/2015 707pm, last time & date stamp from a text she sent him. He says so also the last time & date we all know she was alive. As well it's for a reminder that the ones we love can be there one minute & torn away from us the next.

I doubt she would do it on foot, and without her purse. She sent a text to boyfriend at 7:07 pm -- which would be over a half hour AFTER hubby said she left, but the BF said the text sounded like she was still at home -- not on the way somewhere. If she DID go out, it seems like it would have been somewhere close by -- like over to a neighbors to borrow packing tape or something.

State Police find body of woman in Arcadia

Arcadia, N.Y. - New York State Police confirm they have found the body of a woman on Martin Rd. Thursday afternoon. Police also say the body matches the description of Kimberly Rouland, the woman who was reported missing more than one month ago. The woman's identity is expected to be confirmed Thursday night or some time on Friday.

According to posts under the article - so rumor only - she was found naked.

Hypothermia? There was another case on here, I believe in Fort Worth recently, a mother stripped all her clothes off from hypothermia. Doesn't make logical sense but apparently when someone is freezing to death they get the sensation of being over heated.

Sad. Autopsy due tonight or tomorrow, I guess.

Wayne County - Stripped of all clothing, the body of a naked woman was found right on the edge of Martin Road. New York State Police are waiting for the Medical Examiner to positively identify the remains but investigators at the scene said there is no doubt the body is that of Kimberly Rouland and named her husband as a possible suspect.

Friends of a missing mother fearing the worst after body found
March 12, 2015

...Captain Rick Allen of New York State Police said, "Believe it or not the body was found by a person walking her dog on the side of the road."

...Her body was just a short distance from the road, appearing to have become entangled in the trees.

From neighbor who spoke to husband Tom the day after Kim went missing:
"He explained to me that him and his wife had just gotten in a fight about money issues because he was letting her stay there and she had received her taxes back and he asked her to pay some of the bills, and she refused," Maley said, "and that's when she said she was meeting someone down at the end of the park to pick her up, and she left without her purse, her cell phone, her car keys.

Naked and down an embankment...hmmm...this is sounding more and more like the Jennifer Ramsaran case. I'm guessing she didn't really leave the trailer at 6:30 (especially if she left her phone behind -- remember she texted bf after 7); I'm guessing the "activity" on her phone after midnight is when she actually did leave the trailer (and not on her own accord).

I don't think it was a voice phone call that went through, or they'd have solid evidence she used it and not someone else.

I think the phone was with her remains, and that's why they were searching that area.

..."Thomas Rouland is obviously a person of interest. He was the last person to see her and the condition we found her in here on the side of the road is odd," said New York State Police Captain Rick Allen.

..."We have no indication that she was just out here walking and ended up in a snow bank."

Her boyfriend said she sent him a text message at 7:07 PM the night she disappeared. The was "activity" on the phone later -- after midnight. What sort of activity was unspecified. The neighbor said that husband Tom said (on Feb. 10) Kim left her purse, keys, and phone behind. Her stepfather said the same. But I was wondering if it had pinged elsewhere, which led the police to search a certain area (they apparently didn't search where she was found -- or, if they did, she was covered with snow at the time, which may have melted off by time the dog walker noticed her body). I doubt the phone was with her body -- she was naked, and police said they were unable to locate her clothes, even after an extensive search of the area. If she were murdered, it's unlikely the killer would leave the phone with her body, making it easier to find her. The lady that found her said her body had been caught up in some trees -- if that hadn't happened, she'd probably have rolled all the way to the bottom of the embankment/ravine, and perhaps not have been found.

ETA: The Democrat article said that Kim's body was found about a mile from the trailer - "less distance if you went through the woods":thinking:
