The AWP video is now free to watch on YouTube (paid members just get access to them a little earlier than the general public but they're all available free of charge eventually).
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you all. I really wish this website would alert me when someone responds to something I have posted.Agree!
This is a great idea for a recent loss. Sadly, with the heavy vehicle that Leslie was driving and the date of the loss, I am not sure this would help.I wish Google or one of the big satellite companies would at least let the authorities select an area and really zoom in to see if a vehicle was in a wooded area or in a shallower body of water. Could be so helpful to cover that much ground with an ariel view.
Did they say where they will center their search?I just received another message from Jared/AWP. They hope to return to search again for Leslie and her children in the summer or fall of 2024.
Sorry, no. This was his message:Did they say where they will center their search?
I truly believe that if the Guthrie family is ever found, it will be just like this.I just saw news that a young mother and her 3-year-old daughter (Doris and Caren Wurst) were finally located in a car submerged in a canal in Florida after having been missing since 1974. I hope that 2024 also brings answers to the Guthrie family. Same. It’s the fact that the car has never been found that makes it hard for me to believe that they met with foul play or that she assumed a new identity.I truly believe that if the Guthrie family is ever found, it will be just like this.
Thanks for posting this.I am trying to post a Facebook post from the Bedford County Police Department. I hope this works.

Earlier today Det. Sgt. Grisanti and Det. Whalen partnered up with our friends Westchester County Police Department’s Aviation Unit to continue the investigation into the disappearance of members the Guthrie Family who went missing in 1977.
Due to the significant drought coupled with the ongoing DEP project further reducing water levels, it was a good opportunity to try and get an aerial view of the reservoirs before they fill back up. We also couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get some aerial photos of #Katonah.
Our thanks again to the members of the Westchester County PD Aviation Unit who jumped on this opportunity and were very helpful. It’s teamwork like this that has the ability to further investigations.
