As I was reading the police blotters linked to this article, I couldn't help but notice this:

A Riverhead woman told police she was approached last Tuesday at the County Center bus stop by a man who took her picture with a cell phone and then told her, “I’m a serial killer. Remember these eyes. You’re going to be my next victim.”

He was described as a white male with short brown hair, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, with a stocky build, odd color eyes and wearing a red hoodie, according to police, who said he also was carrying a book called “True Criminal Investigations.”

The woman then left in a taxi and went home, but was later convinced by family members to report the incident, police said.

I thought so too, Aleph, especially when considering the size of our victims. Add to that the fact that we have zero info on McDrifty, so who knows if he might fit the description given for this guy or not? Unfortunately, there's not much we can do with this information right now, but it's definitely something to file away in the back of our minds in case it comes up later.

I've been checking all the reports of missing women across the US from the past 6 months and it appears on the surface that the LI serial killer has stopped for now. IMO, he's probably already been questioned in this case.

The only report I could find of a similar missing young woman is here (in Fayetteville, AR):

Hi MrsPC, I hope he is already being questioned and is going :crazy: because he can't fulfill his desires. I know that SK's take time between killings, but now if he wanted to do something he's have to refrain IMO.

I think LE searched JB's home, but have they had warrants to search Gus' or DrH's homes? Ta

Don't you have to have a reason to search someone's house? Gus seems to be the Good Samaritan of Oak Beach and I can't imagine why they would search his house. For his efforts trying to rescue SG, he has been hounded by the press and I think has become afraid he has put himself in danger.
