Thanks for posting this Coffee56. I kept my breath for a while, seeing the mp missing date and entering date in Namus...every missing case or UID case is horrific, but I was hoping we finally found Ellery Doe...but this couldn't be a match at all.

It's sad there is no picture available. I'm not very good searching through American high school books....maybe someone can dig up a picture of her?

Could Welshans be her married name? According to the info she was born approx. in 1947.

If she made her way to the Niagara falls, possibly could fit in with a woman that was found in the Toronto Harbour a month later?

The clothing doesn't match but that isn’t critical. No note of Linda Welshmen having a scar from her gall bladder being removed.

It's pretty hard to find somebody with so little info. I searched for a while on My Heritage, but I can't seem to find her documents/the right one. Maybe it's because New York hasn't opened up all their archives? No marriage record, no divorce, no birth record. Maybe she has another maiden-name or the name is spelled differently. Based on what we know she must have been born approx. 1947 (no date, no birthplace, could she have been born in Ireland f.i.?) and is, if still alive, approx. 76 yrs. now.

By researching my best guess is that her name is Linda C. Pillard/Welshans and she married John Thomas Welshans, also known by John T. King (deceased) I both can place them in Buffalo and Amherst (investigating PD), Erie New York but didn't find a hard proof; a record that connects them together. But as I said before New York records are hard to access. Maybe someone who is a member of Ancestry can find more there.

There are pictures of Linda C. Pillard, but because I'm not 100% sure I will not post them for now.
