A New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert has been issued for an elderly woman who went missing from Allegany County.

Cuba Town Police say she could be in danger because she suffers from dementia.

82-year old Lorena Fritts was last seen on Sunday around 5:30 p.m. Officers say she was driving on State Route 305 in Cuba.

Fitts is 5’2” tall and weighs 130 pounds with red hair and green eyes. She was wearing a brown coat, black jeans and a baseball cap.

Police are looking for her gold dodge caravan with the license plate number HTH-6674.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

The Missing Persons Clearinghouse said Information indicates that she was on North Union Street in the city of Olean at 8 pm on November 18.

Eldery Cuba woman missing since Sunday found safe

“Lorena J. Fritts has been located and is safe. The process of reuniting her with her family has begun,” Cuba Police Chief Dustin Burch said in an email.
