GUILTY NY - Maddox Lawrence, 21 mos, Syracuse, 20 February 2016

Here is how a worker at Thrifty Shopper says it unfolded:

The man was in the store to buy a comforter. Another women who used to work at the store happened to be in today and noticed the man. He was wearing a black wig and a hat and sunglasses along with a bandanna covering his mouth. The women at the store thought he was homeless. He smelled like firewood, they said.

The woman who waited on him, did not recognize him, but her former co-worker who was in the store

"She noticed his eyes," she said. "She followed him out of the store," she said. "He was in a hurry," she recalled.

The man, who is believed to be Ryan Lawrence, was found walking a short time later, the Sheriff says. He was ultimately turned over to Syracuse Police who have not confirmed an arrest.

So, I'm guessing he's been sleeping outdoors? What is going on with him?

Well I thought the news when it broke said they pulled him over & assumed he was driving someone else's car. Not the case, he was walking.

I'm sick.

If he killed his sweet little daughter, he deserves to be hung up by his nose hairs and left to twist in the wind!

eta. Sorry. I'm just so upset!

This makes me so sad. I hope this guy gives the police some answers.

So do I. He seems to have known right from wrong when he disguised himself when shopping. Good grief. Where is she?

Amen! Where is the baby dang it!? If he's been sleeping outside, is she possibly where he's been camping out all by herself? I truly hope so because the alternative is just way, way too sad 😕

The father of a Syracuse child who was the subject of an Amber Alert is in custody.

The child - 21-month-old Maddox Lawrence - was not with Ryan Lawrence when police picked him up in the village of Baldwinsville on Monday.

Still nothing? Crap. I think I have to agree with people who say that Maddox is no longer alive. &+*@!

How can you have a child, who you have been with while they endured medical problems, and then harm them? I just do not get it. I know a sick child is overwhelming at times, but most parents coddle their sickly babies, they do not kill them. (If that is what happened.)

Was Maddox still going through treatment or was she on the upside of recovery?
