NY NY - Marshae Ivey, 18, young mother, Rochester, 31 May 2021

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police issued an alert for a missing mother Wednesday evening.

According to police, 18-year-old Marshae Ivey was last seen on Monday, May 31 in the Northeast Neighborhood near Joseph Avenue. Police say she was wearing a black hooded jacket with pink leggings at the time.

Police say Ivey has not spoken to her son since her disappearance, which is not typical behavior for her.

Ivey is 5′ 4″ and 165 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Does Marshae work? In a relationship? Who does she live with? There's really not much info to go on.

She's so young, only 18. I assume her child is likely in the care of a family member or other parent? It would be helpful to know what time she was last seen at. Was she heading out to work, or to meet a friend/significant other?

According to her facebook ( Marshae Ivéy ) it would seem that she does have a boyfriend. Her last post before she went missing is interesting imo. Hoping that she just needed a break from the stress of motherhood and being young.

I recently became very interested in this case and started looking on the internet for an update. I noticed a missing Black women page on Facebook posted her and in the comment section someone screenshot a woman claiming to be Marshae Ivey’s sister and claimed she flagged police down and said she is safe. not sure if this was another Marshae. If you look in the comment section here you’ll see a someone posted a screenshot of this post. Odd
