There appears to be a news article about Marvin's disappearance in the NY Daily News newspapers in the Sunday, June 16, 1985 paper.

I don't have a newspapers.com subscription so i can't clip it.

The article on newspapers.com in #3 is quite readable by clicking on OCR. The material content is;
"ON MAY 19, Marvin Mott woke up and enjoyed a Sunday morning breakfast with his roommate. A short time 5 later, his roommate went out for a walk. When he returned, Mott was not ,0 home, and he has not been seen since. According to authorities, Mott has emotional troubles for which he was receiving medication and treatment at a nearby voluntary mental health clinic. Mott's relatives told police that he has never wandered away before, and they are concerned for his safety. Mott, 27, is 5feet-6. 160 pounds, with dark hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He last was seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts and white sneakers."

This man was found not too long afterwards... slight mustache. I can't believe they won't mention the cokour of his shoes, but his socks. Also no mention of the colour of his pants. But he had a mustache and black shirt.

Can anyone see any rule outs? Maybe this is him?

Sad we can't find any more info, seeing as he was likely a vulnerable person with emotional issues at the very least...
