Maylin disappeared on July 23rd. Her body was recovered from the Harlem River in Manhattan.

The New York Medical Examiner’s Office told Heavy on August 23 that the cause of death was still pending in Reynoso’s death.

The NYPD told Heavy that, on Saturday, July 30, the NYPD harbor unit responded to a call regarding a person in the water in the Harlem River. “Upon arriving, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive female in the water in the vicinity of 225 street and Adrian avenue,” the NYPD told Heavy.

The body was transported to a boathouse, where the then unidentified female was pronounced dead, said the NYPD.

Does anyone know what could be holding up the findings for the cause of death? If it was a violent act that took her life wouldn't that be clear from the start? If there was drugs in her system..wouldn't they know that by now? Just confused about it all. Very little to go on and at the end of the day another young beautiful girl gone way to soon!

The number of Latinos missing or found deceased in NYC are increasing. There was Javier Horta, who has a thread here, in the spring. Just like dead young men found in water, I believe that we need to explore what is, if anything, is happening.
