State Police Searching for Missing Wayne County Man; Could Be in Penn Yan Area | Finger Lakes Daily News

State Police are currently looking for 28-year old Michael Pryce of Marion, who was reported missing on Sunday.

• Michael had suffered a head injury prior to him being reported missing and has a large laceration on the back of his head.
• He was last seen at approximately 8:30 a.m., on Buffalo St. in Marion.
• He is a white male, 6’2″ tall, 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
• He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black Under Armor sneakers, and a green hat.
• He may be driving a white 2013 Dodge Avenger with NY plate JJF-6299.
• Michael has family in the Penn Yan area and may be in that area.

Anyone that may know his location is asked to call the State Police in Williamson at (315)-589-8288.

Troopers: Sodus investigation tied to search for missing Marion man | WHAM (13wham.com)
State Police say an investigation at a home in Sodus is connected with the search for a missing man from Marion.

Police tape remained set up around a home on South Street Wednesday evening.

State Police have not yet explained what is being investigated at the Sodus home or how it could be linked to Pryce’s disappearance. Investigators were seen going in and out of the home throughout the day Wednesday.

The street was blocked off for a few hours. It has since reopened.

I am wandering if an altercation happened at the Sodus house that Michael left from there with a gash on his head and he
-Got lost/disoriented from blow to the head
-followed by someone who attacked him
- none of the above and just hit his head leading to him becoming disoriented

I’m wondering if Pryce got into a fight with someone in the house that was investigated. Since the head injury was well publicized, maybe someone in the home reported it? Strange story.

Tried searching court records, but nothing came up there.
Looked up New York State prisons DOB 2/2/1993.. He does have a record there indicating he was most recently released 4/13/21 was his most recent release. It appears he was due for a Parole hearing this month as well. It stems from Burglary and Forgery

The Dodge Avenger was found in that area and there was a death at that house but LE determined the two were not related. MOO

State Police say that an investigation at a home at the corner of South Street in Sodus Center in Sodus was initially thought to be connected with the search for Pryce. The vehicle he was originally driving had been abandoned in the area. A South Street address turned out to be the site of an unconnected, unattended death of the resident.

Missing Wayne County man found, charged with burglary | RochesterFirst

According to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Pryce has been charged with second degree burglary, fourth degree grand larceny and third degree criminal trespass.

According to officials, authorities responded to a burglary on Riverside Drive in the Town of Madrid. During the investigation, Pryce was found at a camp located off Ruddy Road.

“Pryce barricaded himself inside the camp with a shotgun. After a short stand-off with law enforcement, Pryce surrendered and was taken into custody without incident,” officials wrote in a statement.

The investigation is ongoing. According to authorities, further charges are pending.
