Deceased/Not Found NY - Michele Harris, 35, Owego, 11 Sep 2001

There are so many places in the area where he could have disposed of her body and it's almost guaranteed she would never be found. We have acres upon acres of state lands, countless bodies of water to choose from, abandoned homesteads with old wells... He grew up here, he knows the area well. I feel that he is only beating this drum to sustain his relationship with his children.

MOO.

I think he used Michele's van to transport her to a far away landfill somewhere. He also may have buried her somewhere in the expansive land of Upstate New York within an hour or two away but the way Cal acts to me indicates he's confident there's nothing left of Michele to find.

I wonder why Stacey isn't suing for defamation?

How did the defense team get permission to have an archeological dig on Stacey's property?

What's the connection to Michele's missing jewelry?

Maybe Stacey Stewart is being paid.

Did anyone notice how at the end of the press conference, while his daughter Jennah cries, thinking the microphones are shut off, Cal approaches his daughter and instead of comforting her and hugging her, he pats her on the back and says, "Good job."

That says a lot right there.

Also:
  • Tanner is not even crying. The way he acted was almost Cal-like in-and-of itself. He was just scratching at his eyes and trying to sound emotional then just tells the Darlie Routier advocate to take over.
  • While I feel extremely sorry for the children, I have to wonder if Michele's other kids, Taylor and Kayla, didn't show up because they're starting to realize that their father knows what happened to their mother.
  • Cal wants to look admirable and noble now that he is going to be a grandfather. Like was said before, Cal thinks if he saves his reputation he can save his relationship with his kids and sway perception of future generations.
  • They seem so brainwashed and hypnotized. I hope one day they realize the truth if they haven't already. Also, I can't stand those defense attorneys who clearly know their client is guilty.
  • Aida Leisenring worked on The Last Defense and ultimately investigated Darlie Routier's 'innocence.'
  • Jennah acknowledges it could be her mind "blocking-out" trauma when her mother disappeared so she should be capable of realizing she was indoctrinated into believing her dad was innocent despite what he says.
