Far Rockaway Detectives Hope for Leads in 2 Old Missing Person Cases

FAR ROCKAWAY — Detectives are asking for the public's help in two missing persons cases, including one that's nearly a decade old.

Both of the missing people, Gerald Hamilton and Micka Lalanne, lived in Far Rockaway at the time of their disappearance, although the two cases are not directly related.

The 101st Precinct detectives released the alert in hopes of getting more leads on of the cases, officials said.

Lalanne, who lived at the Ocean Bay Houses at 56-15 Beach Channel Drive, was last seen on March 2, 2010 near 653 Lenox Ave. in Manhattan.

She is now 30, 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 150 lbs. She would sometimes wear wire-framed glasses, police said.
