I found this interesting. Not sure what - if anything - it may mean... but, add this to the list of occurrences related to this "case." Despite the passing of the father/owner a number of years ago, the house in which the victim lived with her family was not sold (in the traditional sense). Government records suggest that ownership/control of the property transferred to family members (i.e. sons, for example). In and of itself, I suppose that's nothing peculiar. But, then again, most situations like that are not set against the backdrop of a cold case murder about which it is reported the family is said to be quite silent. There was no reason to sell the house when there’s children to inherit it..just like my parents did when they died..Nancy was their world. She was sweet and spoiled. She loved her family and her family Loved her. Her Mom had 4 Boys and finally got her little girl! There’s nothing sinister in this family dynamics. The simple reason no one wanted to talk about it must have been incredibly painful, Think about it, as it would be to you …this must have been to anyone close to her, EXCEPT HER KILLER
Yes, she had an argument with a brother, big deal! Everyone has at some point.

Because the police and investigator said that her limbs were removed with such precision that the person could be in the medical field, A butcher, or taxidermist…In the 1970s and 1980s, taxidermy was a common niche trade in the Amherst and Western New York area, Basement though it was almost never taught as a primary trade at vocational schools like
Potter Road BOCES.
Not one male student from either school turned out to be recognized doctor in the area per information online.(Hippa) for research

IMO when she was in the car, she started to complain about going too far away from her house, she may have fought him or he may have threatened her with a knife or he may killed her in the car cuz she was making a scene.
I also think he was older than her like in the 20-25 range but looked younger. She was 14
Infatuation, puppy love, attention from a cute guy.. that’s how simple of an argument she could have had with her brother..that’s what I always thought. Then she storms off, just like I used to. Cool off ..go Home!
But Nancy didn’t get to Go Home,, He must have lived so close by that he was able to see her walk down the street, The dog would have known him If he was ever in their house Or Nancy introduced him to the dog at some point.
IMO if this person was friends with one of the 4-5 Brothers he may have been in the house at one time or another or at the softball games.
He may have involved himself with Nancy and one of the brothers noticed and may have said something to him, ya know it literally could be anything.
But most importantly even if you had a suspicion about a person, you can’t do too much without evidence. So you continue to research.? What would you do then 40 years later they still haven’t gotten a parking ticket? But you just wait for him to kill somebody else and hope you get dna evidence that might imply him to Nancy Jo’s murder…
