I'll get blasted for this...but sadly our society does not value babies and children.

They seem to have become a nuisance to abort, pay to have watched, fed and cared for, or to just leave home so that the adults can live their lives and have what they want out of life.

I am not talking about economic necessities because there are plenty of families who can afford children that put the needs of the adults first.

Just remember those unvalued kids, that people don't have time for, become adults. And when those parents get old and need their children's help because of their health or poverty, they'll find out what it feels like not to be valued.

A subject too close to home for me.

You'll get no blasting from me....I totally agree. It's sad how society has become.

Amen to that. And, I'm sorry you've had to endure this kind of hardship. No one should be made to feel unloved.
