A City of Poughkeepsie man was reported missing after he did not show up to work Tuesday.

Patrick Vidal, 54, was last seen leaving work around 4 p.m. Monday. He was reported missing after family and friends were unable to find him.

Vidal is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

It's believed he is driving his black 2003 Ford Explorer, license plate GMA-2793.

Police believe Patrick may be suicidal. I hope he's holding on and they're able to find and help him quickly.

Oh no....I sure hope he is found safe and soon! I got the missing persons alert yesterday from Poughkeepsie police. I’m a local. The Hudson River just thawed too...terrible thought, but I’m hopeful he’s returning home, alive, soon.
