Woman fatally stabbed, twin sister wounded inside Park Slope deli

Eyewitnesses say the stabbing happened after the twins turned down one of the suspects' advances.

Authorities say 19-year-old Samyia Spain was fatally stabbed in the neck and chest. Her twin, Sanyia, was stabbed in the arm.

A witness, who did not want to be named, told NBC New York that the incident occurred after a man attempted to talk to the women but they rejected him.

"He walked down the block angry. And then two or three minutes later he comes up and starts banging and kicking on the glass door trying to get in," the witness recalled, per the outlet.

The staff at the deli then locked the door. "The second they opened the door, he ran back into the door and started attacking them,” the witness added.
