Julie Aquisalas King
Missing since August of 1991 from Sarasota, Sarasota County, Florida.
Classification: Endangered Missing

Vital Statistics

    • Date of Birth: August 19, 1957
    • Age at disappearance: 24 years old
    • Height and weight at time of disappearance: 4'11"; 100 lbs
    • Distinguishing Characteristics: Asian female (Philippine). Black hair; brown eyes.
    • Dentals: Available Partial dentures, missing some teeth.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Julie is from the Philippines and moved to USA to marry. Julie was reported missing by her parents, who still live in the Philippines, because they had not heard from her and were concerned for her welfare.

Julie disappeared from her residence in the vicinity of the 1000 block of Cronley Pl. in Sarasota sometime between August 1, 1991 and September 1, 1991.
Her husband stated that he last saw Julie in August 1991, and that she just disappeared and he had not heard from her. He never reported her missing.
Julie was known to be very devoted to their two young children. Her family and friends believe it is very unlikely that Julie would leave her children and never contact them. Julie has no known other family members in the United States and had few social contacts.

I know those recently added profiles of missing NY girls from 1991 have been looked into recently so I think there’s movement there.

Her NamUs page is down at the moment.

Ahh there is no statement saying who she is? I am glad they were able to find out
Not yet, maybe someone savvier than me can determine which NAMUS profiles have been taken down recently. It looks like several girls missing from NYC in the late 80s/early 90s have been updated in the last 6 months but I don't know how to see what pages are down.

Only two ladies from NY who went missing before 1991 were taken down this year:
Mimi Schultz (MP72661), 15 yo, missing since March 21, 1974 from Valley Stream, NY and Evelyn Moore (MP37340), 30 yo, missing since June 1, 1970 from Harlem, NY.

These are the ladies that went missing before 1991 who were removed from NamUs in 2024 (I excluded the cases where the outcome is known):

Wasn't Evelyn Moore identified as a Doe several years back? I wonder why NAMUS still had the page up.
