why is it assumed that because LE hasn't released the car to IM it's because they have evidence or are investigatin it further, yet IM herself has admitted that even after calling LE in regards to call found on scanner, SHE had to go out and investigate herself. clearly LE is not doing the investigating they're suspected of doing if IM is going door to door asking questions herself. maybe they just haven't released the car because it's not in her name. maybe she needs to go file papers with the courts to get the car without RM.

Why would it be odd?? If anything, it might be odd if she wasn't worried until then. But she noticed he wasn't home by I believe 4 (I think it's when she returned home) and started calling his phone and around to family and friends. If he was a creature of habit, he might have been home watching tv, working in the garage or whatever. I think she got home and knew immediately something wasn't right. Because she knows her husband and cared enough to take notice.

Yes, if you read my next post, IMO you will see the point I was making.

Wouldn't they give her the answer if she asked them why they aren't releasing it? What exact excuse did they give? Something sounds fishy, perhaps LE is on to something.

LE may have discovered something in the car or about the car that they are not ready to reveal as yet, even to a family member. It could be nothing but LE does tend to retain things for inordinate lengths of time without explanation.

My only point is, shouldn't she be asking them WHY the car won't be released? If they gave her an answer about paper work or something, I'm sure she would go do what needs to be done in order to get the car back. She was an attorney, I'm sure she can get paper work done.

If LE was done with the car, she would get it, doing whatever necessary to get it back. JMO.

Agreed, but they would give her some sort of answer, don't you think?

Or maybe not?? They do each have their own vehicles, since RM is not around and she has so many other things to deal with and worry about, if they were done with his car and found nothing, what would be the rush in getting it back? Just. One more reminder of her missing husband IMO

I just searched the facebook page for members with last name Mayer. 2409 members and only 2 with the last name of Mayer. I find this odd.

Then IMO RM really must be the homebody she says he is because if she was already worried by 630pm, she wouldnt already be calling family and friends if he had a tendency to have a few beers after work with the guys.....IMO this makes the theory of him walking out a bit far fetched as he would have shown signs of distancing himself from her before he left.. ie going out with the guys, or doing it more, other "excuses" to be away from the house. jMO

Maybe he was and we just haven't been told.

Not really IMO, people get married, divorced, and change names all the time. Plus none of my cousins have the same last name, not that unusual at all.

True, this is possible, but then I must refer back to my original question... if they were having problems and she was just not saying something, IMO she wouldnt have been worried about something happening to him so early in evening. If he had done it before, IMO she would have waited until later thinking he was just "out" again and not wanting to reveal there were possible problems prematurely. Of course just my opinion..

I disagree. JMO-- If it is something I own, or a family member owns, I want it back. To help with closure in some way perhaps? One less thing "missing" or out of place? Not really sure how to explain it. Also, FWIW-- Remember, IM once called the car "HER CAR".

Hmm never heard about her referring to it as hers...just how much RM loved his car

Unless their conversation in the morning had not gone well at all and she was worried he may have taken off?

She called the car hers in the last update on the FB page when asked when LE would release it.

My BF, whom I love dearly, my best friend, listens to me recap posts here and on FB daily. He surprised me today with a couple of responses.

1. I was telling him about our discussion of how nobody was standing by IMs side during interviews, how it just seems to be her reporting all the time. Now I mean no offense here, but he said "you know the saying if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". My jaw literally dropped. What could have really been happening in their lives???

2. He's ex local 3, told me there was once a guy who went missing at a job site. Poor guy fell down an elevator shaft and was only found, expired, when his cell phone was heard ringing. Now, I would imagine RM would be found by now, but its another avenue I don't think we have considered here. Just wondering how big this job site is and what type of search has been conducted. IIRC, i have not heard anything about this angle discussed here.

Things could have been getting worse, more serious problems, lack of communication. Distancing. Lets say if he was going out after work, texting etc, was something that only started happening in the past few months or so, she could have had suspicions.

But that's the thing, we don't know for sure he was seen.

How do we not know when we had a verified insider confirming one and telling us about another not poosted on fb or flyers?

LOL, sorry, I'm not understanding your sentence, but if your first point is referring to the car (jazz hands) being seen on neighbors surveillance camera, that has never been confirmed publicly.

Not sure what you are referring to on the flyers. If you mean Arrow, also no evidence IMO.

Not accusing here just throwing out yet another theory---maybe a bit wild of a theory, but here goes-----

What if RM had a little side business if his own, besides scrap, and was meeting someone at the train station to complete a transaction of some sort? Could he be selling pills or some other narcotics? Certainly doesn't fit the profile of man-of-the-year that we are led to believe, but hey, you never know.

As per our verified insider, his car was seen on video after the scrap yard, so lets take Arrow out of the picture for the moment. Is it possible he went home, left his wallet on purpose, since he has done it before? Stashes pkg of narcotics under his seat, and rushes off to the station? Whomever he is meeting with gets in his car (no scent) And then something goes wrong? Or he meets someone somewhere else, and then his car is driven to the station by a shorter person after he is harmed?

Maybe IM didn't know about his dealings at all, or maybe she had Suspicions, hence stating he was in danger, etc....

Or maybe he was a courier of some sort for some other people, union big wigs, connected guys, or whoever. Maybe he "ran an errand" for them that day...was instructed to keep cell phone off during such dealings. Union guys being awfully quiet makes this theory a bit more plausible, as perhaps they are scared to talk. Or maybe he was set up.

Too many maybes! And basically zero facts.
