What I know get is why everyone thinks the money is RM saying something to his wife... in this case if he was leaving, and basically abandoning his family, why do you think he would care about paying back a debt? Morals went out with abandoning kids.. not that that is what I think he did at all...

we don't know that he has said that song by n'sync
bye bye bye.

morals?
ummmmmm i dont know how to put this delicately but.
ummmmm

the word MORTGAGE comes to mind...(wink wink)
and MILLIONS come to mind.... co-winky dink!!!

morals?

as we've all mentioned it APPEARS IM enjoys a certain type of lifestyle. maybe RM wasn't stressed because he couldn't afford these things, maybe he was disgusted by how much their lives revolved around the "appearance" they kept up. maybe that trip to Italy WAS the last straw, maybe he was sick of it and leaving the car and the money was a direct message to IM. maybe he was saying YOU care about money and possessions, YOU keep them.

I hope not! Could you imagine your kid riding his/her bike in there and running into a hunter?

I don't believe there is any hunting allowed on Long Island. But I could be wrong. Most people don't even have guns.

LOL I think there are a lot of guns on long island lol

Maybe the money was to tide the kids over until he could start sending regular support, who knows. And maybe things are not going so well for him "out there" if he did up and leave. I just don't see someone killing or kidnapping him for his tools and/or lunch pail and not bothering with his car. The car being locked says it was meant to be safe until it was found, which he or someone knew it would be. JMO

Maybe he owed his wife $300 for something? Or had bought something for that amount that she did not approve of?

I think so too! Phone bill maybe? I think they were fighting and he said he was leaving! JMO

I think the cash was left to pay her for the bike he took with him!
He left everything else behind.

If someone kidnapped him or killed him, I think you know it wouldn't be because of a lunch pail or tools. Furthermore, I think even a stupid perp would know not to drive around in a fire engine red clue. ;).

Please help me understand. I just want to be sure. The $300 found in the separate drawer was the exact amount (formally the minimal amount) that was gotten at the scrap yard? Where they able to match it right to a receipt? Match it right to Arrows records?

Is it possible that this $300 was like a little beer money fund that he accumulated from selling scrap during many visits? In other words, this money was already there, and they just assumed it was the amount from the Arrow trip on the day he disappeared??

According to the release FAQ today, by the time RM's cell phone was found, it was known that the transaction at Arrow Scrap was for $300.00, which explains the $300.00 in the drawer. (not my words, from the FAQ)

The VA reporter has now been stopped from being able to ask questions on the FB page. Somebody names Sara was kicked off for "fueling" his questions. I think we should invite him over here to ask all the questions he wants to ask. Of course, we don't have the answers, but he may have ideas. He said he worked on a missing person's case for NG. Oh, and last night he shared RM's flyer on his personal FB page, but now it's gone.

I've had a busy day, so I've been unable to focus....let me get this straight.....

Cell phone was found 1 week after disappearance right? Didn't IM find out about the scrap yard 2 weeks after his disappearance?

So how was the transaction at the scrap yard known About before they found the phone?

Is something wrong with this equation? Or is it just me?

Nope, it's not just you. I was thinking the same thing. You are right about the above info - things just don't add up
