What came from LE? Do we have a link from LE?

I don't think it was released by LE. The info was just allowed to be released. Supposedly, IM or others asked LE if it was okay. This is my understanding. Can't be sure if this is true or not (if someone asked LE). All and all, the info wasn't officially released publicly through a LE agency.

Oh, OK.. My apologies.

What made you come back tonight of all nights?

maybe LE was never withholding the information (last sighting has always been "leaving driveway at 2:51" on NAMUS). let's remember LE has not made this statement of newly released info, the FB page has. and it comes at a time when people were losing interest, having doubts, asking questions (the FB fan club HATES questions) maybe this was a way to deflect... AGAIN! (remember, it was at the same time everyone was questioning the insider info here and the NAMUS Info of car leaving driveway, that IM released "new info" of RM being at the scrap yard. it completely changed opinions, theories and conversations.)

I feel like someone is trying very hard to make people believe a certain scenario... and to gain as much attention as possible.

Yes I know about Namus but the public probably doesn't. But I agree with you. I wonder what they will come out with next month, a picture of his bike?

NCNY what part of desensitized post are you agreeing with? Or are you ageeing with all and that is what you came back to tell us?

The piece of the puzzle that's missing for me here is an understanding of the garage drawers and their usage. Forgive me for not grasping the context but when I think of "drawers" in my garage, I think of teeny little drawers holding nails, screws, washers and the like. Oh and spiders. So, if my husband went missing, the possibility of me casually looking in one of these drawers and finding his wallet an hour after his last sighting would be nil.

This is why I have asked more than once where is the laundry done in this home? Some homes have the laundry right off the garage and perhaps these drawers are part of a laundry workstation?

So what type of drawers are we talking about? And was it unusual for him to put his wallet and other personal items in them or did he do this often?

Were the wallet and phone checked for fingerprints?

Was it a goon in the garage with a gun or RM that placed these items in the drawers?.

Let's put our thinking caps on. Was the house under water? Does RM have any past arrests? Any bankruptcies or collections that we can dig up? Why would this man walk away from his children?

No the house is not under water. In fact they have quite a bit of equity in the home. I can't provide a link to their actual mortgage record but you can search for it on the Suffolk County clerk's kiosk here https://kiosk.suffolkcountyny.gov/KioskWeb/Notifications.aspx. Click accept and then select Search in the upper left and click Mortgages. You will need their tax map ID which you can get from zillow.com using their address. You can also search for bankruptcies and liens on the kiosk. Last time I checked, several months ago, I did not find any.

Front page of Newsday this morning, there's a headline story about the guy who stole a cherry picker the other day to load mongo into to sell. He's an MTA electrician. Cherry picker went up while he was driving through streets in Elmont LI and he took down power lines, light poles etc. About a miles worth of damage on suburban streets with 6000 left without power.

Today it's reported he got a notice he owed $10,000 in back taxes.

Wondering if RM was worrying about getting one of these notices. The IRS is cracking down on tax evaders. Story was in the news a few weeks ago. When I saw the headline this morning "IRS Debt Sparked Wild Crane Ride" I thought of RM immediately.

Regarding the items in drawers, perhaps he wasn't allowed to just throw stuff around and everything had to be put away neat and tidy at all times. Some houses are run that way.

But that doesn't explain the lag in time finding the phone.

RM has no past arrests that I could find. But his name appears in an indictment involving a mortgage scam as someone who benefited from an investment in a home. I will leave that to all of you to find on your own.

How nice that 2,500 members of the FB page have been labeled "rabid dogs" and "circling vultures". Not sure if the poster is an Admin or not, but the double standard is just getting out of control. Admins or those close to them can say whatever they want while some poor people who just want to help are attacked for posting a question. It's shameful.

Oh, and this post is being "bumped".

Maybe a Mod should step in but if there are public records about the actual missing person, usually they can be posted, just not any records concerning other people or family members. At least, I have seen public records in many other cases. JMO

Yes, please. We can do what we can to find out what happened to RM but family is off limits.

I haven't seen this. Which post are you referring to?

OR--it was not RM's scent given to the dogs.
OR the scent in THE CAR/located around it was muddled with other scents.

Well, you know the whole thing is still quite strange with many unanswered questions. Why would he risk going home a few minutes before his wife came home? Risk being seen by someone, kids, neighbors, camera etc. Go to the DP RR where he could be spotted again. Very risky if you ask me. If he wanted to run, just go to work and at the end of his shift, hop a s/w and vanish. My only thought about the video camera, was that it's only as good as the proper setting of date and time. I guess if this information is validated by LE, then it is a fact that we can accept. thx. J

Its always been my belief that RM left of his own volition---maybe he had reached the point that he was leaving regardless--If the neighbors see him go-Fine! If IM is walking thru the door as he is leaving-OK by him!

The only thing with that---and Cat let me know if I am over stepping--where were the kids while this was happening?? Realistic time for them to be coming home from school.

I wonder if it was common practice for him to place items like that in those drawers? Seems odd to me.

maybe its for his "work stuff"????? the phone is odd---where is the charger??? ANd was there a phone charger for THE CAR????

Okay doing small posts again because those seem to go thru...
1) am I the only one that finds the phone and the money in DIFFERENT drawers crucial info?
2) Did RM have a briefcase (or something like it) like all the foremen I know? If so, did he leave it in the car like my friends do? Again, if so, was it ever found?

3) we dont know if wallet was left in am or pm as it wasnt found until 4pm...which brings me back to number one... WHY WOULD HE LEAVE THEM ALL IN SEPERATE PLACES????? Could the money have been thrown in drawer from a couple of trips to scrap??? iIRC, if he left wallet in am he had no id and therefore couldnt have gotten more than 50 that day.

good questions Sweet----not known about how the money was left--organized, denominations--Hey-could the money be marked?? Thats why it was left???
Maybe the phone was left to be picked up by employer or co-worker?? I'd wonder further about phone holder and phone chargers that go with the phone.
The phone was a work phone--so not his to keep.

It was stated in earlier FAQ there was no charger in the car. I've had 3 iPhones and 2 iPads. I have chargers all over the place. Even in the car.
