Tree-----good catch!!! I think he had a duplicate license--or maybe went from a regular to a commercial drivers' license .

And precious metals too???? Maybe he did sell his ring and/or other jewelry.

I really really hate to admit this but IMO he left.. and I have to agree, I dont think he intended it to be for long..maybe even just a night and Everything just spiraled way too quickly out of hand. I think everyone wouldnt be surprised as to how everything got so muddled. Spent the night reading from the beginning again and shocked how much I missed/forgot from the first time I read. I. Must be getting old... :o:banghead::rolleyes:

After all of the details, release of information, change in details & information....is there anybody left in here who DOESN'T believe he left on his own and IM knew it????

Back to there is NO crime or evidence of crime. One has to ask if there are more pressing cases we could all be spending our valuable time one. Cases where the details and information is true and accurate and backed up by LE.

Okay well me, I don't know if he left.

I think there is probably information still not released that would spin all of our heads.

The pieces of the puzzle just are not aligning for me. I can't put my finger on it.

Eliza--is there one thing that jumped out at you from the beginning or something that made you change your mind??????

Wow---we are talking as though its ending very soon.

I have to agree at this time anything is possible but until this head spinning information is released I'm not want to spend any more sleepless nights. :(

I can't figure out if he left willingly, or if there is something nefarious going on.
With the misinformation, that can be construed that something nefarious could have happened, or a coverup, or something.
Maybe what did happen is, they had an argument and he left and he would be returning.
The thing is, he has not returned.
If he had planned only to be gone a short time, then why has he been gone this long?
Where could he be, and what funds does he have to support himself while he stays gone?
Is someone helping him to stay missing this long?
Would he be embarrassed to come back?
Has this really spun out of control?
If he does return after this amount of time, would a divorce ensue, and property divided, along with Debt, no matter whose debt it is, it could be the responsibility of Both parties to pay for that debt, and child support issues and everything else that goes along with a marriage that has soured and heading for divorce court.
If he comes back, how will they both "save face" if that is what is important to them? With the public knowing many things now that they weren't aware of (I certainly wasn't aware of IM or RM in my whole life until Websleuths), how will they handle it?
There will be scrutiny for sure.......
IMOO.

I asked this earlier. Why does Ida FEEL the preserve is the place to look? Why do they continue to search? Why are they still allowed to utilize SAR resources? If there were conclusive evidence that he willingly left, these things would not continue. Im my mind, that the searches continue is an indication of a possible belief of foul play or suicide.

Maybe because that Preserve is near that train station where his car was found?

How do we know they are still allowed to use SAR resources? When was the last official search using SAR resources?

My only point was the time line was lied about, or there are some serious "errors" with it.

It says the scrap yard transaction was already known about by the time the phone was found. But the phone was found 1 week after his disappearance. The Scrap Yard wasnt known about until 2 weeks after. It doesnt make any sense. :waitasec:

Again, believe half of what you read.

I see what you mean, something is not right about that timeline.

Eliza--is there one thing that jumped out at you from the beginning or something that made you change your mind??????

When I first saw his picture and read about his red car (midlife crisis car?), I thought he was having an affair and took off with the other woman.

Then for a long time I thought he met with foul play. You don't search a preserve for a live person and that's where the searches were concentrated. I could not picture him leaving his children. The mortgage scam and the players in it colored my thinking also.

But then I thought about the tools missing from the car. I can only see him being the one who made them disappear because he is the only one that they are worth anything to. I also don't see anyone else but him putting his wallet, phone and money in the garage.

So to me without knowing if the placement of the personal items was abnormal or not, I could go either way. If it were the normal spot, then he either met with foul play after leaving the house or he got an emergency phone call from his lover on his second phone. If it were not the normal spot then to me then either the bad guy with the gun made him put them in the drawers before pushing him into his car or this was a planned departure and he was rushing to get whatever it was he needed out of the house before taking off (and I'm thinking he changed his clothes in those 10 minutes).

IM's words haunt me. "We will keep you safe". What do these words mean? I could not fathom saying these words in a plea to my own husband if he were missing. What would RM fear his safety from?

Rarely am I this wishy washy with a case. But it's probably because of the missing information that would clear things up in my head.
