Thank you. This is very good information and apparently I missed this subtle hint.

I don't think it's heroin, though. I do know of people who are hooked on heroin. They are the children of people I know. These kids do not hold jobs and their lives are a complete mess. From afar, RM does not look like a heroin addict to me.

If RM and IM both had iPhones, text messages would go through iMessage and therefore NOT show up on a list of texts when phone records are checked. iMessages use data, just like opening Safari or Facebook from the phone. Same thing as BBM on a Blackberry.

I am going to try to stay up to date on this as much as possible. Hubby and I are going on a bike trip starting tomorrow and won't be back until the weekend sometime. I won't have my laptop with me ;( (unless I can find a way to put it in a saddle bag on the bike hmmm.....)

Sorry - one more question.... Why has Long Island's primary newspaper seemingly refused/delayed reporting on this story?? They did report on that other man missing from Dix Hills last summer (never found, AFAIK), GR, but they have told subscribers who have questioned them about RM that there is simply no crime suspected, so no story. Huh? IM said they did finally say they would so a story a few weeks ago, but when, and why the obvious reluctance?? Do they know something from an insider, I wonder??

They are reluctant because then they would have to pay journalists to actually do the investigative work involved in writing a good story.

People who are taking painkillers can go years without anyone knowing. Most start taking them from one injury then realize they feel terrible without taking them after the injury heals. And age has a lot to do with it too. It's normal for a man to start feeling those old football injuries now or hockey, basketball etc. If this was the case with RM I can't understand why he would feel the need to disappear like this though, that's what doesn't make sense. Heroin is the drug of choice here in LI for kids but painkillers are the adults choice of drug.
You would be surprised at how many Drs. are taking painkillers now. It's everywhere, it's impossible to even pick 5 out of a 10 person lineup. The results would surprise you.

IM mentions that RM looked worried and scared in the video from the inside of Scrap Arrow. In another interview she mentions that he wouldn't leave his family.
Has IM ever made a plea to the perp to let her husband go, if she believes there was a perp?
Even if she did not know if there was a perp, has she made a public plea to let him go incase he was taken?
