<snip> I'm reading the threads from July and I don't know if I can copy it and post it here. Lots of clues there.
Its my understanding if the post is on WS you may copy it forward here from an old thread, as long as the original poster is credited / quoted. Hopefully I'm correct because I've previously done just that. :escape:

All he has to do is call home I'm fine .... or call law enforcement and say I'm ok just do t want anyone to know where I am. He has been gone to long for rehab

It has been a long time but IMO maybe he can't call or isn't ready to call I'm not sure how those places work but I know each individual case is very different. Depending on how severe the addiction is.

Celebrities live in those places.

IMO 3 months gone will possibly bring us some kind of answer to what happened. 3 months IMO is just a good number.

:ufo: I would believe he was snatched by a ufo (not really I don't think aliens are watching us) or a super secret guvmint org first ...except theres that pesky video of him at Arrow and the sec cam of a red car at his house both of which I would like to view

Unless he had to wait for a bed. My GF daughter had to go upstate because there was no beds available.

But I don't think he had a drug problem...but I've been wrong before.

:please: Praying for Robert to be found safe :please:

My guess is he pulled up dropped off the money and left. I think the money was for the lobsters and oysters.

Ok I have a question....Is his benefits up to date, where his health benefits will cover his family. Does he have enough time on the books, otherwise his family may not be covered?

They also have 90 day program, even a 6 month program. But I don't think he has a drug or alcohol problem, imo

I have spent some time today looking at the preserve on Google Maps. Seems there are a lot of trails and two roads G Rd and Old Commack.

It has been my experience (your results may vary) that perps do not tend to carry a body long distances in rough terrain. If RM was taken there against his will, he would most likely be within 20 yards of one of the trails or roads. There are also three sandy areas, one close to what appears to be a power plant and two others, all with vehicle tire marks in them as if ATV's have been using them.

For someone who knows the area well, it would be easy to drive in, take care of business and drive out with little concern for being seen.

In my humble opinion, a very detailed search of that entire area would rule it out, or solve the case. Ruling it out has value as it is the closest "dumping ground" available for a "crime of opportunity" to his LKP/PLS.

Then again, if LE came out firmly against a large scale search of that area, it would be very telling.

If someone did harm him, why take the risk of bringing the car to the train station? Or did he possibly meet someone at the train station for some reason and go with them, never to return?

His car was captured In. Neighbors drive not his own .

"About a week after her husband’s disappearance, Suffolk police detectives informed Ida that a neighbor’s camera had recorded what appeared to be her husband’s car by her driveway at approximately 2:41 p.m., June 14, and then showed it pulling out of the driveway 10 minutes later. Only the top of the car was spotted; the driver and/or passengers weren’t. The camera caught Ida’s car pulling into the driveway at about 3 p.m."

If you watch the interviews at all and look at their house....their driveway is not close to the neighbors...had to be his own

The car may have been brought to the station much later when traffic and prying eyes were not in abundance. This would also explain the seat being moved.

First time posting. Thank you to everyone for providing such good reading!

IMO, what if there was an argument in the home (over anything, drug use, $, life, trips to italy, felonies), they continued the argument on the phone while RM was at work-for 45 minutes, a rather long time to be away from the job to talk about shellfish. He hangs up on her (dropped call), she keeps trying to call him back (cell going right to voice mail). He comes home, "someone" else is also home, waiting for him. He says "I'm leaving." She grabs his wallet, phone and money and says you can't leave now. He says, watch me. Then she gets in his car and leaves because then she thinks he can't leave. He gets on his bike and leaves anyway. The car is parked at a train station, because if you don't want your car towed, it's the perfect place. Hence, the seat is moved forward. She jets back home and finds him gone, now she's pissed/upset, maybe genuinely worried=missing persons report.

I know it's a bit of a reach with the car. But IMO, something about this scenario feels right to me. Maybe I have too many crazy girlfriends/wife friends who would have no problem doing this.

Also, wasn't the young girl who said she saw RM on a train from the Warwick area? And RMs family has not posted anything on FB.

I am still trying to figure out how she got them to take a missing persons report so quickly on an adult. That to me stands out as that is not normal procedure. He isn't elderly and there is no sign of foul play. I am thinking she had connections inside LE. I also think the secrecy is around skeletons in the closet. That to me is the reason for so little information being released. I don't buy that the LE is telling her what she can and cannot release as I don't believe they really are doing any investigating. She is/was a lawyer so that speaks volumes to me.

IIRC, I believe she did have a friend in LE. I could have sworn I read it somewhere, but can't recall where. Does anyone recall??

I also agree that the secrecy is possibly because of the skeletons in the closet. I also believe it colors our thinking on the matter too. It is hard to put aside. Although, maybe there are private issues IM and family do not want to advertise to the public. I don't know how I would respond exactly if someone in my family disappeared. I guess it depends on the circumstances and how the back story relates to the disappearance. JMO

And with little information, that's all we can do in the hopes that looking at a theory for the eleventy billionth time, the light bulb suddenly turns on...

I don't post in this thread - just follow along diligently, and wanted to be the first to say welcome to WS and thanks for this well-reasoned post. Makes as much sense as many others posted here.
